We went last night as part of my sister's birthday celebrations, booking on line was very easy & so was picking up the tickets from the machine. Service at the refreshments counter was slow but that's because there were only 2 members of staff working them. I think this is down to companies not wanting to hire a lot of staff, there was one guy sweeping the floor when he could have helped as a customer pointed out. He was apologetic and it wasn't really his fault. We booked v.i.p seats which were spacious and clean. We are thinking of going again next week, food and drink that my sister bought were value for money.

Booking online was easy n getting tickets from machine when arrived was quick n easy. Gold class was fabulous! Never been before n loved the luxury. Worth every penny, a good night had by all.

My only discontentment was the very very slow service from the pick n mix, drinks etc so didn’t bother in the end n just went up to gold class lounge for our popcorn! U would have got a 5* if the service was better.

Well where do I start , there is never enough staff on that's for sure. You always end up missing the start of film because staff seem to take forever getting people's food together. It's a bit of a shambles really

I would suggest not selling food and drink from the ticket area and maybe adding a separate que lane for people that have pre booked their tickets.. waited half an hour for my ticket because I had to wait for staff to do people’s food and drink order.. I think things would move a lot quicker and people would be a lot happier if they made different ques for different things.. ☺️

Great cinema, comfy seats but the reason I only gave 3 stars is because the staff are like sloths,oh plz, half the time they look at u as if u have 2 heads. It's so annoying especially when u are restricted on time as we want to watch the film. Food/snacks are over priced too. Speed up guys! Plz

Getting tickets on line was great. When got there had to que to wait to see the movie. Some people thought that they was to good to que and pushed in. The film was suppose to start at 17.05 but started at 17.20 as still cleaning the room out. When watching film eating our expensive popcorn to find a hair in it not impressed one bit with the experience. Now wonder they have put tickets down to £4.99. Film hotel Transylvania 3 was good . Vue cinema star city no.

Cinema is clean. Tickets aren't badly priced on weekdays. Food is overly priced so make sure you go supermarket before coming (no HOT food/drink). Auditorium hadn't been cleaned, popcorn on seats and sauce wrappers in drinks holders. Screen is nice and big, clear image, sharp sounds. They also do autism friendly screenings, and kidsAM on weekends.

Think that there should be a system for ripple with disabilities for a fast lane when buying tickets/snacks we queued for 3inutes Sunday & I am a parent to two adult s with extra needs , & my kids find it very hard to be wait for that long as do so many people with disabilities in some shops like Primark they have a no wait for people with disabilities and makes such a difference , and as Vue is an American company I would of thought that they would have this in place like in the USA ??

The movie was good but the woman who gave us our tickets had a horrible attitude. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by buying myself a drink. Then she shouted at the queue line because there were more people queuing at her bit (no one knew there was two queue lines). She just had no manners and made everyone feel uncomfortable.

Lots of cinemas. Dirty seats. Very long queues. You would think they would have queues for people just for tickets, and queues for food. When you realise you're behind a family of 4 who want everything from the menu board and the staff are slow

I don’t understand how it takes so long to prepare snacks, they have zero motivation. Every time we go there is never all the toppings for the ice scream sundaes, which no one ever tells you before buying it.

Film was great and picture and sound quality was good too.

Massively over priced tickets and food though.

Had to ask if it was a large nachos as was no where near the size of the ones I get at another cinema.



Won’t be returning again based solely on pricing.

Enjoyed the movie and it was easy to get tickets as I got them online. Had wait ages for food and even then the attitude of the staff is unprofessional. It was like we had offended them by buying food and drink. Slow service by staff just stood around catching up on their social life!

Average cinema. The staff are very very slow and there’s not enough of them. Always kept waiting between 20-25mins for tickets and very long ques.

Very sticky floors and they do nothing about people using their mobiles whilst the film is on.

Prices are ridiculous! So will only go when there is a deal or meerkat movies.

We waited over 25 minutes to purchase our tickets for The Purge. There was 7 staff behind the counter 4 talking 2 serving and one just standing there with a cloth doing NOTHING. The tables outside the Pizza part were disgustingly filthy there was popcorn all over the floor. You could smell the toilets from outside in the corridor. When I mentioned this to the member of staff who checks tickets she said I know they are bad man I can sniff em from here. Great 👍🏻

Really big queues to get food and drinks staff just standing about five staff just standing chatting and not serving 15 people stood there for 20 minutes not one person got served disgrace don’t know how the place makes money will not be going again

Queues were small but still waited ages to be served, staff slow, snack stock poor, general cleanliness was poor (spilled drink and popcorn not cleaned up), what was available is dreadfully overpriced

Staff looked miserable, now I remember why I don’t go to star city that often!!

Paid for tickets at kiosk only to get to seats to find people sitting in our seats, turns out vue like to double sell tickets.

Had to kick off before anyone would sort out refund. The place is a disgrace. Lost my cool with them and they just didn't give a dam that they had ruined my night out with wife and son.

Will not be going there ever again....

Nobody on desk to buy tickets from had to purchase from machine. 30 min queue to buy snacks from, couldn’t work out that as there were only 4 people in the queue in front of us.
