The staff are all friendly and approachable and to top it off the drinks are cheap, definitely one of the best places on Broadstreet!

Popped in for a spot of late lunch today, started with the Tin Can Chilli......amazing! Then had the BBQ Skewers, very nice too, and finally against my better judgement.....a freakish milkshake.....amazing.

Nice clean tables, friendly staff, nice choice of drinks.

Menzie thank you for the superb service and the locating of my coat and phone. The staff, music, atmosphere and pricing is absolutely top class. Will return and tell others to come here also.

Fab price cocktails , food was lovely and the atmosphere was good with good music playing too

Absolutely amazing,

Sat and had a few ciders while watching the football, atmosphere is sensational. Reasonably Priced drinks and the balcony terrace that looks over the canal is beautiful

Highly recommend

Lovey people with decent staff, atmosphere was unreal today really enjoyed it, will be back Thursday to watch England game again, worth coming back here again

Atmosphere superb and would recommend the next game



The place was full, not sure about the charging of £2 on the door as previous England games were free.



Maybe more staff needed as it took along time to get served

Went there last night. We got their half 8ish an was meant to kick off at 9. Come just after 10 and it was still dead, didn't open other floor up yet so we ended up leaving and going else where. Waste of a ticket personally!

Went in yesterday. Not busy but did wait for drinks. Thought at the time god help us if it was busy. I one drink and left. Not much atmosphere

Went in there last night, music was good and the atmosphere amazing! Tried to get served but barstaff were so rushed off there feet they managed to completely walk past us several times! Not their fault in the slightest as they were obviously trying their best. Gave up after 15/20 minutes of trying to get served and went elsewhere. Would come again though as it was fun and disappointed we couldn't get a drink

Waited over an hour for food.People served after us had their food before us.Had to go up to bar twice to chase it up..No sincere apology and the food was mediocre at best...very disappointed!!!

Great atmosphere for the rugby , place was busy but service very poor. Every time we went to bar waitime was 20 mins. On one occasion my husband paid they went to change the barrel and then never came back. More staff needed on busy days.

Good music but service shocking and bar managers attitude a complete disgrace, will not return purely because of her...

Booked a booth for my partners birthday and added a bottle of vodka on arrival. When we got there it was empty, the music kept going on and off so at times when it was quiet we sang songs but got told to be quiet by the bouncers.. the place was in silence! Boring!! We requested some songs to be played as the music wasn’t all that and when they came on the bouncers once again told the dj to play something else because people were being “rowdy” no.. people were dancing to the music that they finally enjoyed!! To make matters worse we bought another two bottles of alcohol (Malibu & grey goose) drank some, then we all went off to dance, when we came back the whole table had been cleared and the alcohol was gone!! There wasn’t much more than 1/4 of each bottle left but even so, when you’re paying £70-£100 for them you expect to be able to drink them before someone clears them away! It wasn’t even the end of the night. So disappointing!! We was really looking forward to it and the girl that took our booking (Leonie) was really helpful! Really wish I’d have spent my money elsewhere. We won’t be doing it again!!

Amazing atmosphere!! Came to watch the England game Vs Sweden game and it's electric. Getting a beer is a different story altogether!! Your bar staff must feel so stressed and understandably so! Such a big event for you and service is tragic. 3 staff and about 100 people at the bar.

We visited Walkabout yesterday as a Hen Party and were hugely disappointed with the service from the bar staff. The girls working behind the bar made us feel as though we were putting them out and inconveniencing them by asking for a drink. We ended up only staying for one and then moving on. It wasn’t busy and we weren’t rowdy so I don’t really know what their problem was. Won’t be visiting again if I am in Birmingham.

Possibly the worst customer service by the lady on the bar today... huffing and puffing at everything and just generally rude.

I visited walkabout on Tuesday 24th July with my boyfriend we had a cocktail jug and food, we was both unsatisfied and annoyed that we had wasted our money. We ordered a sharer for £19.99 and everything on the plate was dry!! It all seemed like I had been warmed up. You can taste the difference between freshly made food and food that's been warmed up and what we was served was 100 percent not fresh! I wouldn't recommend walkabout to any of my friends and I certainly won't be visiting again.
