A busy week ahead for some of our staff at WAD! Miss Beth is busy preparing for Theatre Awards whilst at Phil Winston College. She has been nominated in two categories!!! Way to go Miss Beth!!! Miss Amy is continuing her CPD whilst working with the Royal Opera House artists. Miss Emma is working super hard whilst at Uni, almost half way through her PGCE... and Miss Christa is busy at examiner training in London with examiners from all over the world representing the IDTA.

Did you know? In 2019 Miss Christa and Miss Amy began a very special working partnership with artists from the Royal Opera House. After a very large application form, video submission and a lengthy interview at our premises we were selected to work to deliver workshops with ROH artists at a local Primary School. Miss Amy has been working directly with the artists in professional development sessions and is just about to embark on a placement within a school to deliver the most amazing workshops and experience to students at that school. As part of our commitment to the project WAD will be offering a student from the school free lessons for a year. We are so proud to have been selected (1 of only 5 across the entire midland area) and we are even prouder to be working within our community helping spread the love of dance!!
