About Walsall Deaf People'S Centre

Membership of WDCS is open to all Deaf people their families and friends and anyone who shares the mission of the Charity Company, to improve the life of Deaf people and their opportunities to lead independent and fulfilled lives.

Membership is £20. 00, and can be renewed annually by application to the administration office or by completing an application form.

Members can participate in any of the activities organised at the Deaf Centre, and can attend to have their say and vote when voting is needed at the Annual General Meeting of WDCS.

Non members can also attend our Annual General Meetings but will not be allowed to have a say or vote when voting is needed. This is something we have to follow as this stated in our Constitution.

Each activity operated at the Centre is run by a group of volunteers. You have to pay a small fee to attend social activities to help cover costs. The fees are decided by the people who run the activities.

Sad to announce that Peter Jones died on 31st January morning. Rest and Peace 🙏 The funeral service on 25th February at Streetly Crematorium at 12pm. Once I have confirmation, will let you know. Thank you

We would like to say massive thank you to volunteers help us to clear up and full rubbish a skip! Need one more skip! Anyone interesting to help us shortly.

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE UPDATE ***
1. The building still on the market (for sale). We have lots of viewings, they offer the prices but not match. The viewing continues. 2. When sold, we have to spending some money and leftover to keep for our deaf community. 3. We trustees work hard and plan our deaf community in the future.

Selling the books, dvds, cds etc This Saturday 25th from 10am to 1pm

Interesting to buy the books/DVDs- sign languages, cultural, history, education, etc between 20p and £1. When? This Saturday 25th January between 10am and 12pm at Walsall Deaf Community
