For children aged four and under most accidents tend to happen in and around the home. During the summer garden safety is particularly important. After gardening make sure you put all tools and any chemicals you may have used on plants away safely. Keep little ones away from the barbecue and remind them it stays hot long after the cooking is finished. Join your children in the paddling pool for a splash so you can keep an eye on them and always empty paddling pools after use. If you have a pond, cover it, and if you're visiting family or friends with a pond make sure you keep an eye on your children. And finally, don't forget the sunhats and sun cream on those rare days we need them. #keepmesafe #childsafetyweek #childaccidentprevention #sunsafe

It’s the start of Child Safety Week and we’re delighted to announce that our road safety bear Warwick is now also helping out with child safety in and around the home. After successfully teaching children about road safety Warwick, joined by his family, will soon be sharing tips and advice to help keep young children safe at home and play. #keepmesafe #childaccidentprevention #WarwickBear #CAPT #ChildSafetyWeek
