Irene's Ghost: A 'must-see' film, full of laughter and tears
Local Nuneaton film maker, Iain Cunningham, has created a powerful and moving film called 'Irene's Ghost' about his quest to learn more about his mother who experienced puerperal psychosis and died when he was an infant.
The film explores the stigma of perinatal mental health illness in the 70s - provoking questions about continued stigma today, infant mental health, and the importance of community.
... Learn more about the film here > https://www.bbc.co.uk/…/nuneaton-man-ma kes-film-about-the-m…
The film is being shown in selected cinema's across the UK, for more details visit @IrenesGhost

Coventry is hosting a free cycling festival with a difference. See the city from the saddle on a traffic free circuit including the Ring Road and Cathedral Quarter. There are lots of free family activities from 10am in Broadgate and in University Square by the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum. You can do as many laps of the 5km circuit as you want from 11am till 3pm. And you don’t need to be an experienced cyclist – as it's traffic free and there's a 1km option too.
