Wassell Grove Car Boot Sale will start on Saturday 11th May and will therafter every Saturday and Bank Holiday Mondays.

A big thanks to Angie, Stefan and Mia who helped jumped start my car after the battery decided to go flat!!

Love this Carboot, nice to get out and have a mooch round. Great, helpful members of staff. Used to work there myself and know first hand how rude and stressful general public can be. The threats we received were unreal and people need to be very careful what threats their throwing around. I witnessed a woman get drag away Saturday from almost hitting one of the members of staff...... Seriously?!? Are you for real?!? How old are you?? It's a Carboot sale not bloody Chelsea Antiques Fair. Behave yourselves.

Loads of bargains and the lady that shows you where to park is very helpful twice she has helped me carry stuff back to the car

Great boot - If you are polite to the staff they are polite to you! I always find the lady on the carpark friendly and helpful - have had a few laughs tbh. Just wish it would stop raining on Saturdays so it could be open more!!

Did first carboot here yesterday made lot money and had a great day out staff very friendly

Nice car boot and great to have such efficient car parking staff that don't take stick from idiots. Keeping the place safe for all.

If Carlsburg did carboot sales this would be theres.

Great carboot some great bargains to be had. Seen some comments on here regarding rude woman. Seen it for myself this morning very abrupt and rude. Seems we were not the only people she was abrupt and rude to .

Good car boot...did our first there today and made a good amount of money from selling bits we just didn't need anymore...friendly staff and friendly buyers. Would use wassell Grove again

Good car boot with lots of sellers, fantastic atmosphere, always having a chat with the folk.



And I'll agree with everyone else, the power hungry woman who walks around directing the car parking is an absolute pig of a woman concerning manners. She will not approach you in a nice manner to where you'll hear her out but she'll try to have a right go at You! Learn some manners!



But I won't let some silly mare ruin my shappin!

Sadly this boot seems to have gone downhill. I went yesterday and there were nowhere near the buyers there used to be, and half the ones buying want something for nothing. Another stall holder commented that if you gave it away they would ask you to wrap it. Where there used to be two catering trailers there is now one, and nowhere near as many large trader vans, and the field was not full of sellers which it used to be on a nice day. This all tells me people think it’s not worth going. I took around £500 worth of goods ( much new & low prices ) and was hoping to make an absolute minimum £100, I did nowhere near it.

Love the carboot itself .but today I witnessed ,on several occasions ,one of the women that was telling people where to park was very curt and sharp in her manor of speach towards customers !

im geeting sick and tired of the childish and petty way this person is being he removes all my comments and when asked why he removes my comments he blocks me from commenting which i think is really childish as i dont know why he cant just answer my question im not the only person hes done this to either he needs to grow up and stop being like this otherwise he wont have a car boot left (but then again after the rain we had this morning thats most likely finished his season as his field is the worst field ive ever seen) as people like me will go to other car boots where the people who run them are more friendly and polite and i must say that one car boot in nearly 4 months is appalling especially when other car boots have been running since the start of march
