My kids loved the Holiday camp, it is an amazing value for money as well. Many Thanks to all Holiday camp staff. Happy kids = happy mum.

My boys have swimming lessons there and I haven't been able to go for a couple weeks so dad has been on duty. Took them today and I am absolutely amazed at their.progress. the instructors are fab with the kids and what they are doing obviously works! One of my twins has difficulty focussing and is being assessed for autism and they work with him brilliantly. The pool area is super clean as is all the facilities. I have a real thing about swimming pool smells but this is the best I have seen including pricey gyms. Cannot recommend it enough.

My lil girl comes to the soft play area here; at £2 it's fantastic value, very clean and it's brill for the 5-8 year olds. My 14 yr old uses it for swimming too and he and his friend said the pool was really nice and there was plenty of hairdryers lol. Fantastic for under 8's too as it's free swimming for them while my son's enjoying the school hols free swims... been twice in the last 24 hours! Lol. Really like it here 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Have been coming swimming and to the soft play with the kids here for a while but also had my sons birthday party here last weekend. We were in the small pool, which was clean and tidy. Staff were fantastic and really helpful throughout the party and was fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend to others x

User

Had my sons swimming party here this afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and changing room clean. The room we had for the food afterwards was lovely. Couldn't fault anything. Would definitely recommend having a swimming party here and my other son is now asking to gave his birthday here in a few months.

Can I just say how wonderful the staff are, I am in a wheelchair, when I get hoisted out of the pool they make sure my wheelchair is there waiting for me. They stay and help me into my chair and are do understanding when I'm in tears because of the pain. The best staff, love you all, huuuuge thank you

Not bad for a public swim. Enjoyed a relax swim went around 930 wasn't too bad in terms of the pool not being too busy but by 1030 the pool started to pack. Might go again but other public pools available nearer home. Changing areas are all mixed with cubicles to change from. All in all it was good enjoyed my swim without doing laps.

I have been going to west brom leisure centre since it opened and at first the facilities were excellent, lately I am concerned the centre is not being looked after. Spin class is becoming a test to try and find a bike with nothing wrong with it, I set mine up on Thursday only to find the pedal straps were broken, moved to the bike next to it, the straps and computer monitor were broken, the bike next to that had an out of order sign on it. A lot of people seemed to be having the same issue with pedal straps. I then went to Pilates straight after where the mat I chose was filthy with dust and make-up (I think), but it was still cleaner than the floor in studio 2 which had bits all over it. Today I've been in the gym and the window sills are covered in dust and the treadmill was also unclean. Can something be done about the cleanliness and the standard of the equipment? Is no one checking the spin bikes seeing as it is such a popular class? People really appreciated finally having a new centre to go to after years with out one and it appears to be rapidly going downhill.

I had a lesson today and it wasn’t my daughters usual swimming teacher who she adores and has brought her such a long way. She is two years old and was scared by another teacher who got in the water with her when she didn’t really know her and put her under the water trying to encourage her to swim but scared the life out of her by doing this when first meeting her. She was then very clingy and wouldn’t let me let her go and wouldn’t want to swim at all. She has now got back to where she should be not scared and swimming on her own with the help of Lauren. Who is an amazing teacher and done wonders with my daughter. It’s been 4 weeks that we haven’t seen her. Could you please tell me when she will be back as my daughter is not wanting to get in the water when she does not see Lauren and is continuously asking for her. I would hate for my daughter to take another backwards step. Kind regards

User

Can I just say how disappointed I am to be told by a member of staff that Lauren has left, she was a fantastic swimming teacher who was the best, and brought the best out in children, who knew the names of every child and always told them they could do it, my children loved having her as their teacher ( not only private lessons but school lessons too). She was so honest and caring towards them and kept me informed of their progress, if I had any concerns she was easy approachable, I witness many times her jumping in the pool to save other children who wasn’t even in her class, she was an outstanding teacher, I find it very difficult to believe she would just leave without saying goodbye to the children who she has brought along way to be brilliant swimmers. My children miss her deeply and are considering stopping swimming lessons, Lauren had taught my child from stage 2- where she is now stage 7.

My daughter has been attending swimming lessons since you started them, with Lauren who is an exceptional and outstanding teacher who is fantastic with my daughter. Who is now a confident and brilliant little swimmer. But the past 4 weeks Lauren has been away and when asked where she is i just had the reply she's not here today. Yesterday my daughter asked the covering instructor Where's Lauren? He replied shes left...... Which has left my daughter devastated and very upset and no longer wanting to attend. Im finding it hard to believe Lauren would just leave like that without even a goodbye. I as a mom/valid customer am very disappointed with this outcome and total lack of communication by yourselves regarding this matter.

It's been almost 12 months that I've been taking my son for swimming lessons here. It's been fine until we changed instructor, my choice because she was much better for my son, he's worked so hard with her. But a few weeks ago we found out she was working him towards level 3 and we didn't even know he had his level 2 let alone 3. This was obviously the previous instructors fault for not telling us. Since the new instructor I've not been at all happy in the fact that every other week has been cancelled for one reason or another, it's been extremely frustrating when my 6 year old can't progress because he can't go regularly enough. I haven't cancelled any sessions but it's been 3 months and he's had 6 lessons! It's just not good enough. So we were meant to go today, but an hour before got the call to say cancelled. When I said I want a refund because I won't be going again, I was told yes you can have a refund but it will take 14 working days. I work in retail and it's very clear the refund does not take that long! No apology for the way I've been treated or the lack of care for my sons progression or any kind of what can we do to put this right.

I can't take anymore of the messing about so I won't be back unfortunately. I will find a cleaner leisure centre to take him too.

I could of complained much more than I have at how dirty the place has always been, disabled toilet stinks every time and a few weeks ago there was even a used tampon on the floor in the larger changing room! Disgraceful!

So I'm sorry to say that it's the last straw West Bromwich. You need to look at the standard of cleaning and the continuity of trainers!

User

Having been going to west Brom leisure centre for almost 2 years for the aquafit I won't be going back. Arrived tonight to be told the class had been cancelled asked why I hadn't been called. There response you have, when looked at the number they called it was another Lisa Whitehouse, they couldn't even book it under the right name, yet they took the payment! Want you to go back tomorrow for your refund and when they refund it back to your account 14 working days. It didn't take you 14 days to take the payment. This problem is one of many with this class over the last few months, and it's the final straw now.

I attended a Gala here on Sunday, to say I was totally disgusted to see members of the public allowed to stand poolside and watch these young children swim was a total disgrace !!!!!

AVOID!! My daughter has private weekly swimming lessons here and yesterday afternoon while in the changing rooms was approached by a stranger and asked to go with them, luckily my wife was close by to intervene. After reporting this to the staff who didn’t seem to know what sort of protocol was supposed to be followed I was then advised the general manager would call to discuss the situation as this is not the first time something like this has happened their. 24 hours on from this incident I’m still waiting for a call, when something as serious as a potential child abduction happens you expect a certain level of compassion and investigation. This leads me to believe the management at this centre is of a poor standard and I will be taking this matter further before something worse happens!

User

A little over crowded, but to be expected in the summer holiday, but half the pool was sectioned off for lane swimmers, which it does not state on the their website Hence why so crowded. Toilets were filthy, certainly were not cleaned that day, we arrived at 10am, so if they were cleaned before we got there they all seemed to get dirty very quickly.
