There’s still lots of snow around locally, even a mile down the road Stonebridge GC and North Warks GC are still covered in snow, but not here! The course is fully open, no temps, no snow, buggy’s on the paths.

This is a handy brief guide to the new rules for next year. I have had confirmed that the new stroke and distance rule that was proposed to allow a player to drop on the fairway next to where a ball had gone OOB (+ 2 shots), is now not going to be allowed in competitions after all. Mark.

On the PGA tour, Cameron Champ just hit 382 yards off the tee and then pitching wedge from 168. That’s 550 yard Par 5 drive, wedge!!! What a player!

Widney and west mids are both great courses, both looked after well and they are a credit to the greenskeepers. The staff in both club houses are always friendly and helpful too

What a great course this is, first time I played it and loved it. Wouldn't like to walk it though, buggy hire is very cheap. Excellent three course meal after the golf. Very courteous and friendly staff. Will definitely play there again.

Played the course today with a couple of friends. Greens were excellent and the course sets up well, challenging with good scoring holes.



Top clubhouse and the food included in the deal was fantastic!

Played here a great deal in the last two years absolutely love the course playing twice a week a lot of the times can't fault it.

Used the restaurant a lot too found food very good also.

Played Tuesday just about to set off in buggy, and assistant manager approached us and was quite rude, and abruptly asked if we had damaged one of the buggies the previous year,

Felt really annoyed by his attitude, as we explained this was a freak accident that occurred whilst playing in virtually gale force winds and rain, and a tree branch hit the side window popping it out, this was explained to the staff on the day in question, so why he felt it necessary to ask us again almost a year later in such an arrogant manner has angered me and my golf buddy, such a shame that some people lack the people skills and respect towards the paying customers that keep coming back spending there hard earned cash to play at there favourite course.

Love this place Had a great time on Friday 12th Feb,all 48 of us loved sing baby sing -tribute to the stylistics, food was lovely - staff were great- we will see you again March 12th for another great night.

I had been to a few brilliant evening tribute parties in the past and loved the restaurant room set up and views across the course when ever we have visited walking round the lake, so it was our first choice of venue to hold our charity golf day and evening party. From start to finish, all the organising through the golf clubs management team, entertainment and golf timings were handled meticulously and ran like clockwork for us and all our guests. We were looked after by Jeny and Ken and can't thank you guys enough for all your help with bringing this event together. Ed and Nicky Hornsby

I had a great day out there. The staff were very welcoming and that makes all the difference if your made to feel welcome when visiting a golf club you have not played before. Great compliment to the management !!!! Keep it going because the course matches the staff excellent.

Great course with great staff. Played 2 weeks in a row and with my brother and dad. We was looking for a new course to join, and because we enjoyed it that much and the layout of the course we are now joining. Course is in great condition and greens are superb! Well done guys!

Excellent course made even better by the new 8th hole “The Devil” 720 yards par 6. Great bar and food menu with excellent customer service would recommend to all

Course is very good at minute and its great you can see the green keepers are working really hard to keep it improving Top lads �

A great course at a great price with pie & chips thrown in if you book on line. The course is well laid out with plenty of water hazards . Plenty of buggies to rent at a very reasonable rate. 10 out of 10 West Midlands golf course. Ps if you like fishing give the lakes here a try it's fabulous.

A bit wet in places due to the rain the night before but overall a good place to play, nice long course and tricky greens but well worth the trip and money

Played here a few times and always liked the course. We had a society day here last week and again the course was in great nick! It's a shame the food and service was poor! Was sat in the lounge for lunch, only 4 chairs at the table.... We needed 9! The table was really sticky!! When we came back in for dinner we were left sat for ages with no service and when the food did arrive it weren't great, chicken was dry, veggies were quite hard and potatoes missing altogether! The table hadn't been cleaned from lunch as it was still sticky and bits of salad from lunch time were still lying on the table.

Sour end to a great day! Hopefully this was a one off and we won't experience it next time!

Nice course, lovely club house.. got a bit angry when trying to tee off by the lake when a tirade of cars, vans etc came piling past sounding horns... not on really ��

Good golf course, really lovely sunny day. The course is pristine condition. Would recommend to go and play golf her. But the food no so good catered for the golf event was bland for indian cuisine & dry.

Due to the recent wet weather the course was quite boggy. The greens were in reasonable nick even though they were dressed and prepped for the summer, but it was playable and will be fab in the summer. Well done to the greens staff

Absolute rip off, they wanted over £35 for a round and coffee and a bacon sarnie on a course that should cost no more than about £20. Never going there again, very disappointed...

7 of us played a round on Saturday, all with buggies. It took us just over 5 hours to play and we had to wait on every tee box for several minutes on the front 9. It was slightly quicker on the back 9, but not much. Slow play is always an issue here from past experience. Greens were very poor but the food and beer afterwards was good. Dissapointing on the whole.

We as a family use the carvery several times a year and that's over 20 of us

We went last Sunday staff great. food great as always .

Then we were informed because there's over nine of us we have to order a three course meal . Weather we want it or not so we had our three course meal all 24 of us

some starters we thrown away some deserts were wasted

I'm not pc so I'm not going to harp on about only my mom tells me what to eat and all the homeless should squat here great food getting tossed in the can

Go to maccies next time
