Mr Shahzad has to be one of the best surgeons around. Always puts his patients first and the staff and nurses are a credit to the hospital.

I had a kidney stone lasered and today I had the stent removed Mr Shahzad took his time to explain and to make you feel comfortable before proceeding.

And also the aftercare is brilliant cannot recommend enough

User

Just came out from having surgery and can say it's the best hospital i have ever used staff are all outstanding you are looked after really well and after Care is excellent

User

I went into the hospital as a very nervous first timer for a gallbladder removal . The staff were all excellent and helped me calm my nerves . I was kept informed at all times and received a high level of care . I went in as an NHS patient

User

I was shown to a lovely room. Everything spotless. Like a 5star hotel.

However I had a long wait for surgery through nobody's fault. The morning theatre list was prolonged causing the afternoon theatre list to start late. I didn't mind waiting.

I missed the bustle of staff moving about and the company of other patients. Not a criticism. The service was excellent, beautiful sandwiches, coffee and biscuits before I went home.

User

I took my father in for an operation yesterday ..(NHS) The staff are welcoming and friendly.Brenda who was the nurse who looked after my father was exeptional. She was very friendly and approachable she explained everything to us and even opened my eyes with the gowns patients have to wear .In all my experiences with hospitals I had never had it explained to me how to put the same colours together for the gown not to gape open at the back and I have complained several times to nurses over the years about them, so thank you Brenda. My father was looked after brilliantly .The rooms are spacious with a TV and bathroom with shower.

User

From outpatients to being admitted everyone here is extremely friendly. From Rosie taking me down to theatre to dot who cared for me over night your team were amazing. Knowing that I suffer with anxiety anyway they really put me at ease. A special thankyou to dot though she was such a calming influence throughout the night. Couldn't ask for better care.

User

Fantastic service. Sat down and was called in for my scan within 4 minutes. The doctor was very thorough. More than any other hospital I have been to in the Midlands Area.

The only downside is the parking facilities. Not many places to park. 20 to 30 space, and reduced when the mobile MRI scanner is there. But giving 5 stars for the actual hospital staff.

User

Went there to see someone about my problem was very nice warm just didnt seem like 5mins i was there in and out with no answers to my problem. But is a nice and friendly place to go.
