Had a wallet handed in yesterday- Micheal J. Lots of cards- will have to take to bank tomorrow- might save a lot of hassle if someone can find him?

User

Hoping to make this a regular monthly event. Please come along and support Debbie and friends.

Why have we not stopped here before? We will definitely be back! Relaxed atmosphere, good choice of real ales and wines, soft drink free refills, excellent menu. We opted for the specialist burgers which were obviously made from scratch and cooked to order served with home made accompaniments. How often do you hear the phrase "how would you like your burgers cooked"?

Well worth the drive down from Coventry.

User

We love it here so much we try to visit every week... with three children it's very relaxing always made welcome the kids also really enjoy coming the food is always fantastic and never to long to wait... can't beat good old country food rather then the traditional pubs... we travel all the way from milcombe to have food here and never found anywhere just as nice...

We came her yesterday (May 12th) for my birthday. I had visitors from Australia and as it was sunny I thought it would be a nice place to come. This place has clearly changed management in the last 10 years or so as it is fabulous. Not only was the food great , it was very reasonable and I got my meal free :). The drinks were good and the service was great. I will be recommending this place to every one I know. Thank you.

Walked past one my Lands Ends to John O'groats walk today... Popped in for food... Had ribs and loads of chips... The ribs was cooked perfectly, lovely mop sauce over ribs and perfectly golden crispy fries

The old Rosie was on point and you enter this place as a stranger and leave as a friend several hours later.... Great food, people and excellent staff who all went above and beyond

Another thousand mile to walk and visiting a place like this makes it easy

Thank you

Superb I had been recommended on a number of occasions to go to the Wharf, so today I did and it was as I had hoped excellent, we had a ploughman's with Ham and cheese which was wonderful adding free refill on Soda's is a nice touch.

Service good and a quirky decor all made the experience great finally the prices are not going to destroy your bank balance

Decided to stay in one of the glamping tents, had a lovely evening in pub, staff very efficient and friendly, our dogs were very happy to be allowed to sit besides us. Food was delicious, good portions, very reasonable - will definitely return

User

We went here for my sons 18th birthday meal, on Saturday evening...the food was lovely the service was good. However, on there website it stated that ‘the birthday guess eats for free’ (cheapest main meal)

I asked the cashier if this was the case as we were just about to pay, and was told YES!! It was only when I got home and checked my bill, I see that actually this wasn’t the case. We did not have 1 meal for free like we were told. Shame!!

There was 14 of us eating and drinking there, so not cheap!!

We stayed in the wharfs campsite in our camper at new year, lovely walk down the canal with the dogs and a friendly welcome, lovely pub with comfy sofas and open fire, food very good, caesar chicken and bacon salad with garlic bread was very good.

Good beer and wine, if camping al facilities that you need are there, Would recommend, thank you

User

Very nice salad and Oscar loved his freshly cooked sausage!

User

Great place to stop off on the main road between Banbury & Southam .

Chilled surroundings by the canal .

Good choice of food . Sunday lunch is good though think price has topped a bit to high now

Nice touch with the free refill on soft drinks . I would give a good 7/8 out of 10

User

Foods good nice serroundings staff pleasant ... would be nice if there was a kids play area out side, in the very pleasant gardens. When your out the back in the sunshine you could be anywhere!!

User

Rude service & poor quality food. Extremely disappointed, will not be returning.

Such a shame as could be a lovely country pub.
