"Amazing! Me and my husband went here for our 6th wedding anniversary this evening. At home we eat vegetarian as hubby is a veggie. The chef really knows how to make outstanding vegetarian food. Everything we ate was wonderful from the vegan coleslaw to the chocolate brownie. We will definitely be returning, especially as it is close to home. We live around the corner from the lodge and love it!!! Every time we go the food is just as good as the previous time. We are slowly working our way through the menu! Very generous portions too!

We had our wedding reception here and I believe this was the Lodge's first! We had such an amazing day, they listened to what we d like for food, what we could do to the room and David and his team were brilliant. We had it just the way we wanted. The food was delicious both main meal and buffet. We were certainly catered for extremely well. We can not thank all of you guys at the Lodge for helping make our day so super special. We certainly will never forget it. Keep up your great work. Claire and Mat Nicholas

We had a lovely get together with friends for an evening. Choice of food was varied and interesting, especially the specials board. I don't have a large appetite so was greatful to have a choice of two starters instead. Food was cooked well and very nicely presented. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Break between courses was just right. A lovely evening had by all!

Visited last Sunday for roast dinner, booked table the evening before, on arrival asked if we could sit in the more casual end bar, this was no problem at all. Service/staff were great, as was the roast - only niggle was lack of Yorkshire pudd with the veggie option, so stole half of husbands ! Desserts were divine ’┐Į. This was our first visit & we thoroughly enjoyed it & 2 days on we were still saying how good it was & also value for money. We will definitely go again & recommend to others.

This was the first time we had visited since the comprehensive refurbishment. It has been tastefully done and it has a great ambience with very friendly staff. The food was excellent quality and superbly cooked with portion sizes that nearly stumped me and i am a big eater. I will certainly visit again and would highly recommend this place to all. I just hope it doesn,t become too popular though and we have a long wait to book again!

This is a hidden gem. The best food IŌĆÖve eaten out in a long time. Tucked behind the stag inn but much better food and service. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to eat out. Should have a couple off Michelin stars.

Reserved a table for my son's birthday lunch today. The three of us, including mum in her wheelchair, were welcomed and shown to a lovely table.(and shown where to find the toilets)The service was excellent, with cheerful friendly staff. Our meals were brought in a timely fashion. The food was hot and absolutely delicious. The desserts were equally delicious. My sorbet- divine. Very reasonably priced.

Me and my partner were passing by and stopped in for lunch,the food was lovely no complaints from us,was a cold/rainy day and it was very cosy and warm inside,staff very friendly.we are going back for valentines meal as menu looks fab and reasonable prices.

First time back today after referb. Was really impressed. Lovely atmosphere, child friendly, and good food. My little girl was given an activity pack while we waited for food but service was so fast she only did a bit of it. Child meal was excellent (saussages, mash, yorkie pud and veg + ice cream included in meal). Me and my husband had beef dinner served in a giant yorkie pud which was extreamly tasty and certainly worth the money. Only thing i could say is some of the veg was not cooked enough for me, but still fresh and tasty. We will definatly be back and recommending to others. ’┐Į

Celebrated my 50th party here last night with all my family 30 people ,

Pre ordered my menu via excellent email communication with David the Manager who sorted it all out for me

We were very welcomed the room had been set out amazing , the food you could not fault , it was piping hot and came out all together

Waitress service was excellent , friendly and the gentleman behind bar and who looked after us and the ladies were so helpful and friendly

I would like to thank all you guys for making my 50th birthday the best night ,

Best roast dinner I've had at a pub. Highly recommend this place, 1sr time there, won't be the last x amazing food, friendly staff, even gave my little girl a kids pack while we were waiting for food.

A really lovely country pub, with a real family inclusive feeling, where even dogs are greeted with a bowl of water, a plate of doggy treats and are allowed in either the bar, snug area or garden! The food we've tried thus far was fabulous and large portions were gratefully received, now we're very much looking forward to enjoying the rest of the menu! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making the White Lodge a great place to hang out :)

We have visited twice in the last month, after previously really enjoying our food and experience the last couple of times we have left disappointed !

We chose to eat in the bar area, the staff were not very attentive, we were given menus but after 15 mins we were unsure as to wether or not we needed to order our food and drinks at the bar, as no one was at the top bar to ask, this is not clear. When you have small restless children you want to order quickly.

The second time we went they were prepared to turn away 9 of us as they didnŌĆÖt have a table big enough available. We said we didnŌĆÖt need to sit together & asked how many they could accommodate they said 8! (2 tables of 4 in the bar area) we said we were happy to pull up an extra chair.

Again we were given menus and ordered our drinks at the bar, We then waited 40 minuets for our food order to be taken then waited a further 40+ minuets for our food (just main meals) During our time there approximately over 2 hours (we didnŌĆÖt bother with starters or desserts) but did notice all the reserved tables were still empty ... IŌĆÖm surprised they were willing to turn away custom at ┬Ż150+ because they couldnŌĆÖt rearrange a couple of seats ... it was a Saturday lunch time but it wasnŌĆÖt that busy and majority of tables in the snug and restaurant were sat empty or reserved. Food was just standard but accommodating us and service was poor , shame ...

Great food good prices friendly staff , we turned up without having made a booking itŌĆÖs was extremely busy and with a member of staff down we still received top service ! Next time weŌĆÖre at snetterton we will be back for sure

Great food and great service

First time back today after referb. Was really impressed. Lovely atmosphere, child friendly, and good food. My little girl was given an activity pack while we waited for food but service was so fast she only did a bit of it. Child meal was excellent (saussages, mash, yorkie pud and veg + ice cream included in meal). Me and my husband had beef dinner served in a giant yorkie pud which was extreamly tasty and certainly worth the money. Only thing i could say is some of the veg was not cooked enough for me, but still fresh and tasty. We will definatly be back and recommending to others. ’┐Į

Celebrated my 50th party here last night with all my family 30 people ,

Pre ordered my menu via excellent email communication with David the Manager who sorted it all out for me

We were very welcomed the room had been set out amazing , the food you could not fault , it was piping hot and came out all together

Waitress service was excellent , friendly and the gentleman behind bar and who looked after us and the ladies were so helpful and friendly

Best roast dinner I've had at a pub. Highly recommend this place, 1sr time there, won't be the last x amazing food, friendly staff, even gave my little girl a kids pack while we were waiting for food.

A really lovely country pub, with a real family inclusive feeling, where even dogs are greeted with a bowl of water, a plate of doggy treats and are allowed in either the bar, snug area or garden! The food we've tried thus far was fabulous and large portions were gratefully received, now we're very much looking forward to enjoying the rest of the menu! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making the White Lodge a great place to hang out :)

We have visited twice in the last month, after previously really enjoying our food and experience the last couple of times we have left disappointed !

We chose to eat in the bar area, the staff were not very attentive, we were given menus but after 15 mins we were unsure as to wether or not we needed to order our food and drinks at the bar, as no one was at the top bar to ask, this is not clear. When you have small restless children you want to order quickly.

The second time we went they were prepared to turn away 9 of us as they didnŌĆÖt have a table big enough available. We said we didnŌĆÖt need to sit together & asked how many they could accommodate they said 8! (2 tables of 4 in the bar area) we said we were happy to pull up an extra chair.

Again we were given menus and ordered our drinks at the bar, We then waited 40 minuets for our food order to be taken then waited a further 40+ minuets for our food (just main meals) During our time there approximately over 2 hours (we didnŌĆÖt bother with starters or desserts) but did notice all the reserved tables were still empty ... IŌĆÖm surprised they were willing to turn away custom at ┬Ż150+ because they couldnŌĆÖt rearrange a couple of seats ... it was a Saturday lunch time but it wasnŌĆÖt that busy and majority of tables in the snug and restaurant were sat empty or reserved. Food was just standard but accommodating us and service was poor , shame ...
