Whitestone Community Centre Description
A charity-run community centre available for regular and one-off bookings, located adjacent to Whitestone Infant School.
With two function rooms, a kitchen, plenty of tables and chairs, parking, an outdoor area and capacity for up to 100 people, the centre has a wide variety of uses throughout the week, and is available for hire by individuals, clubs, groups, businesses and local services.

Some of our committee members were invited by the lovely people at Mary Ann Evans Hospice last week to hand over the donation you helped us raise at our recent Open Day.
Don’t be lonely in your community - come along to this FREE community event (especially for the over 50s) and see what help and groups are able to be of assistance to you. Don’t be lonely, there is a lot going on in Whitestone and the Community Centre!
This event is run by PPG at Whitestone Surgery, Guideposts, & Warwickshire County Council.

Guidepost will have a mobile Unit parked outside the Centre to promote their HERE.
Results of the latest Survey taken door to door in Whitestone for the over 50’s will be discussed and questions may be asked. It was found that the biggest worries of the over 50’s were health concerns including dementia, overweight, loneliness, isolation, falls and mental health.
We are also looking for anyone who can give perhaps as little as a couple of hours per week to volunteer. Drivers would be especially welcomed to help someone to shop, go to the doctors, vets or to take them to meet a friend for coffee to stop them being isolated. Any type of help would be appreciated, come along and you would make new friends too.
Talks start at 11.30, please come early, have Coffee and look around the stands.

One of our new groups kicks off this weekend with a free trial session - all welcome!
Now that all the cakes have been sold, the total amount we raised for Mary Ann Evans Hospice was £226.35! Thankyou everyone!
Big thanks to everybody for your support at our Open Day today - was great to see so many of our groups present (both old and new!) and lots of people dropping in - despite the weather!
And most importantly, we managed to raise nearly £200 for Mary Ann Evans Hospice!
And we're off! Open day now in full swing, some fab looking stands, loads of colour and plenty of cake! A great spectrum of what Whitestone has to offer - come on down and take a look!

Drama Tots will be starting sessions on Wednesday mornings from November and will be present on Saturday if you want to find out more info or enrol.

We're having an Open Day to showcase the variety of groups and services available to the local community. Many of our regular groups will be present, with something for all ages, from babies to the over 60s!
We'll also be collecting for the Mary Ann Evans hospice (via a cake sale - what better incentive could there be than cake and a cuppa!) and there'll also be an opportunity to donate to the Nuneaton Food Bank.
If you're interested in starting a new group or finding a venue... for a party or celebration, this will also be a great opportunity to meet the new committee and even get a discount off your first booking!
Doors are open from 12-4pm, drop in for as long or as little as you'd like - hope to see you there!
