PLACES FOR SEPTEMBER. Just to reassure parents. If your child already attends, then they will definitely have a place for September. Do not worry. We will be touch over the next few weeks. 😃

PLACES FOR SEPTEMBER - with the difficult and challenging times that we are going through, we have no idea at the moment when we will be re-opening. It may be June - fingers crossed or it may be September. If you are thinking about a place for your child in September or anytime during 2021, please get in touch, A lot of places are already taken but at this time of year we usually start doing Stay and play sessions for people to look round for the next academic year and of cou...rse, we are not able to do this. We take children from 2 years of age. We take children with the 2 year old funding and the 3/4 free funding. We are open for 30 hours a week 9-3pm with various sessions available. This is our last post of photographs and videos of our lovely children for a while. We hope to be back sooner rather than later, so watch this space! In the interim stay safe and well. We started the week with a topic of our senses, where the children got to taste and smell all sorts of wonderful things 👅👃👀 Then our last music session with Sarah, the children had lots of fun 🥁🎶 The Acorn children showing you their please and thank you song and a song they would have sang at our Easter Parade. WORLD BOOK DAY YESTERDAY - THE CHILDREN AND STAFF HAD LOTS OF FUN DRESSING UP 😃 AND OUR TOPIC THE PREVIOUS WEEK WAS DINOSAURS, JUST IN CASE YOU CAN'T GUESS 😁

Over the last two weeks, the children have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year. Trying Chinese food, eating with chop sticks, dancing to Chinese music, making Chinese lanterns, and lots more besides. Lots of fun whilst learning. 🎎

We have had a lovely week, starting with lots of lovely activities about Winter Wonderland and then in our music session with Sarah - Shake Rattle and Groove. The children had a wonderful time dancing to Chinese music in preparation to celebrating Chinese New Year next week 🎎🎊🎏🎉🍝

Our first week back after the Christmas holidays. Our theme this week is Winter. The children have had lots of fun with all our exciting activities ⛄☃️

What a lovely week we have had. In our Acorn room the younger children's theme this week has been dinosaurs and in the Oak room the older children's theme has been The three little pigs. Practising our Christmas songs. Christmas is a coming 🎅

This week our younger children had lots of fun with their theme of pirates and mermaids. Our older children have been learning about road safety and getting involved in lots of different activities ☠🚸

The Grand total we raised for Children In Need was £52.70. Thankyou to everyone. 😄 Don't forget to look at your ticket to see if you won the Duck race. We have a bottle of wine waiting for the winner 🍾

THANK YOU TO ALL THE PARENTS THAT DONATED TO SUCH A WONDERFUL CAUSE YESTERDAY. WE RAISED JUST OVER £50 AND THE CHILDREN HAD LOTS OF FUN DRESSING UP, MAKING PUDSEY CAKES/BISCUITS AND PARTICIPATING IN LOTS OF OTHER FUN ACTIVITIES. WELL DONE EVERYONE 😃

In the Oak room (Pre-school room) the children had lots of fun celebrating Diwali - The festival of light 🌅🔥 with singing and dancing.

Today in our Acorn room (from 2 years) the children and staff had a wonderful time celebrating Halloween with lots of fun and games and yummy things to eat. 😄🐺🐭🦇🎃
