My name is William Burgess, I am an up and coming Professional Golfer living in Worcester, and I am currently studying and working towards my PGA Qualification through The University of Birmingham and Redditch Golf Club. I am the Assistant Professional here at Redditch Golf Club and have a wide range of golf lesson packages available, whether you are just starting or want to improve, we can tailor the lessons to suit your needs. GOLF SCHEDULE: For 2020 I plan on playing on the PGA Midland Region Circuit, which includes multiple individual stroke play events and pro-ams played across the region. I will also be playing on the Worcestershire PGA circuit which also consists of individual and pro-am events, but only within the county.
AMATEUR YEARS: I have a strong Amateur background with good experience and also multiple wins to my name. I have represented the Worcestershire County U18's team, played in Midland Amateur Championships, County Championships, and many club events. During 2012 to 2014 I attended Hartpury college in Gloucester, where I achieved a Triple Distinction in my Level 3 Golf Studies course and was part of a select group of golfers chosen for the college academy team.
