Where to start...this race has the most friendly, supportive, organised marshals ever! They really work hard to make this event a safe one � today's weather conditions were perfect! and helped me get a PB on this race. Thanks again for an enjoyable race. See you next year �

This is possibly the most well organised event I've ran! Lovely, flat course, great for pbs. Will be back next year. Well done to all involved �

My pb is still on this course of 32 minutes a great course for fast times.

My 2nd ever 10k and only be running a short time, really pleased I completed it and proud of my result.

I gained a PB over 5k distance and a PB over the 10k of 59:24 😊

Lovely running around a course where I played as a child, a long time ago, the M1 was being built at the time! Gosh the days that used to be! Great organisation and massive thanks to all volunteers and those cheering the runners on!�

Lovely run, friendly local atmosphere whilst managing to be very professional too. Couldn't fault anything.

Love this one missed it last year but defo back next year !!

Just wanted to say how well organised the event was, traffic control etc was brilliant. Well done guys see you next year! ���

I'm not sure I know where to start! But I'll try, what a fantastic event :). After an unforeseen accident on the A50, I arrived very very late to the area. But one of the (very nice) marshals took pity on me and let me through to park in a lay-by, just as I started running the 1.5 mile to the start, she came running after me, telling me to get back in the car, they had opened the road just for me! Another marshal opened a "private" car park just for me! Dumping the car, with around 4 minutes to the start of the race, I had to get my number, quick wee (obvs) and get to the start. I was pinning my number onto my vest as I started the race :). First for everything. Also want to thank the chap that escorted me from the car park on his bike. I can't thank you guys enough. I had decided in my head that I wasn't going to make it. I had been training a long time for this! I just wanted to let you all know, I pb'd today! My fastest 10k ever. Chip time 44:02 (bib 331), I've been chasing a sub 45 all my life! I was finally able to achieve that today. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to your amazing marshals and volunteers that help put on this event. What can I say, you are all awesome :). I'll be back next year, but might leave a little earlier!
