Wilsons has very friendly, attentive staff, great food and amazing cocktails, I have performed here many times and absolutely love playing here to the fantastic, friendly, fun customers.

Thank you for a brilliant cocktail making masterclass yesterday.

You accommodated 16 of us on a hen party and we had the best time. The service was perfect, the bartender running the class was really nice, knowledgable, patient and fun.

Tapas was super tasty and the cocktails were of great quality.

Whilst organising the booking the communication was brilliant.

Everyone really enjoyed themselves and we all left tipsy, relaxed and happy.

Thank you so much.

Popped into Wilson's for a drink last evening. The sun shone, wine was chilled, place was spotless, staff were great. Perfect start to evening.

Great staff they are all very friendly, nothing is to much trouble for them. Cocktails are top quality and the entertainment at the weekend is always a winner. I would highly recommend a visit if your passing through Oswestey. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic afternoon! The sun was out, drinks were flowing... all the entertainment was top and perfect for the day. Everyone in the party/holiday spirit...

Cocktails have really gone down hill since my last visit 2 years back. There was no resemberlence to the original ones I used to enjoy regularly. Very poor and no better then the cheap things in Wetherspoons. �

Brilliant service, pizzas, cocktails and live music this evening! Perfect Friday evening.

Brilliant night last night and the kind bar manager charged up my phone whilst I was enjoying myself to the live music... very classy bar in Oswestry

Booked a table for 15 on the 27th. About 10 more people turned up to join our party. No trouble for them at all and the food was fantastic

Much larger than expected with outdoor tables & chairs under a large umbrella in the courtyard plus a large conservatory as well as the normal indoor seating also a small outdoor area at the front. Had coffee stop on route to holidays with our dog � at the rear

Lovely trendy bar, nice decor, always busy, went late afternoon. Expensive for drinks and food.



3 members of staff on and drinks service was slow not all bar staff could make cocktails so waited a good 15 minutes when he eventually brought them to our table. Cocktails looked presentable and tasted good.



Returned in evening about 11pm understaffed again, bar area rammed couldn't move and service was slow, cocktails wernt presentable just rushed, shame really for a trendy bar.

Love Wilson's!! Always start our night's out here.. my only criticism is the prosseco is never cold! Just once I would say nothing, but it's been the last few times we have been! Expensive warm prosseco is not very nice.. other than that , the cocktails are great and the service is always good .

I had not been in for a little while. Food remains the same, OK, nothing special, but hot. I like the ambience, and its the nearest I get to being back in Chester having recently moved. It was busy, and a pleasant place to spend an hour, but....... the bottle of red wine was FREEZING! I like my white wine and bubbles freezing, but my red wine at room temperature. I hope the management will take my comments as constructive criticism? �

We visited on the 30th only to wait for some time before a friend of mine went to the bar to order a drink noone came to the table. We were unsure what to do! Then the meal we ordered was a while then our chips we ordered never came with the Meal so we told one of the waiters and still no chips and we'd finished our meal. I told a female waitress who took the chips of the bill for us and did apologise for the mishap. The staff need to be more attentive and aware of the customers it wasn't busy. We like the place and will continue to visit just remind the staff to be on point at all times as hard as it is!

had sunday lunch wasn't great dry roast potatoes and something that resembled a yorkshire pudding, dire tbh wouldn't recommend

Booked for lunch for special occasion, very poor service cold over priced food, took 45 minutes for food to arrive no apology!! pulled pork panini was freezing cold the pork had been taken straight from the fridge and dumped on the panini it's surely not difficult to warm something up!!! Complained and reordered a ham and cheese sandwich as did no longer fancy the pork to have to wait 20 minutes for it rest of our party had by this time finished eating they did take the cost off our bill but was still very bad service won't be rushing back!

Booked a table with bar staff only to find on the booked date a week later the table hadnt been booked. Was told festive menu would be available but wasnt. Female waitress asked kitchen if festive ciabatta could be made and they obliged but quality was very poor compared to previous week and chips cold and were replaced. Service at table was slow. Not impressed, a real let down compared to 17th Dec when served by Lucy mostly. Then bill had 3 cocktails on it which werent ours. Get the service right first time please!
