Went out with friends and family food amazing as always and staff great as always. It's all you can eat and you get more than your moneys worth. Friendly with children and everything is always clean and food fresh.

Couldn't fault it the food was gorgeous only 1 down fall was one of the waiters I think was Italian when he did talk very grumpy and abrupt. But over all the place is fab food is delicious can't wait to come back.

One of my family's favourite Birthday venues. Never had to wait for a table, even if we haven't booked, always very attentive polite staff.

Food excellent, huge variety of dishes, always spoilt for choice.

A little disappointed yesterday as the ice cream machine was out of order, a favourite with the grandchildren ... and me. Love the pancakes, so had those instead.

I have been before and not enjoyed it but it was my daughters 9th birthday and she loves the place so I had no choice. I liken the place to a glorified works canteen! Yet the price is hardly cheap! My main problem is I’m vegetarian and last time the labels were messed up and the food was cold or had run out and it was mixed up with the neighbouring food. In short a nightmare for a veggie. This visit however was a pleasant surprise. Well stocked, well labelled and well organised. Still a bit of a wait for drinks but a much better experience. It is great for kids who can experiment with different foods in relative safety. Don’t like something, leave it on your plate at the end of the table and it’s taken away and you can try something else. Kids love it. �

Been for a family meal tonite n for one that normally loves this place. a few found the food to be luke warm tonite with only the chips came out hot. And found the lady on the till to be most rude to customers asking for a table number that was explained that we wernt given one and her standing there signing what it looked like . Rude to say the least when there wernt a number on the table. Fullstop. Think she needs to learn some customer service manners n how to deal with people in future. As if it wernt for ur customers who pay for a decant service u would be closed down with ur rudeness...... manners cost nowt.

came for a meal in april the service was bad the staff on the bar and on tils were not at all polite in fact miserable and the food was not very warm and at £14.99 for all you can eat not good value for money i will not be eating here again and would not recommend this place for anyone to eat !!!!!!

Despite booking there was a long queue from the door and we wondered why. It was very busy but many food compartment were empty. Plates were cleared quickly but we felt the staff were poorly trained , poor English and no leadership or direction. The drinks order was taken by Jonny and we waited at least 30 minutes before any drinks arrived. We’d ordered 2 lemon and limes , no lime and the lemonade was off. Instead of hot water , bottled water arrived and we had to asked what had happened to the order. I went to the bar about the lemon and lime. The lady was helpful and apologetic. The food that was available was good but with so much not being replaced and the ice cream machine either running out or breaking down was disappointing. We were with our friend from Hong Kong and I felt embarrassed.

Booked a table for 6pm I was ignored 3 times when asking management about our table, we then waited in the queue and a guy came from the back of the queue and got seated straight away because he said he had booked a table, we were not the only ones I spoke to 3 other families who had all booked a table and were ignored by staff, once we were finally seated it took ages for drinks to arrive which was no shock as when we were in the queue there was 1 person working the drinks bar and around 15 tickets just printed,everyone was crammed in so much that one staff member fell over the high chair my son was sat in twice almost pulling my son down with him! While we were getting food the queue was still out the door when there were many tables empty, we have been here a lot and have never had an issue but extremely poor planning and management and none to little customer service

Yesterday I went for a meal with my friend and my son, due to being the Chinese New Year.

We booked a table, however this seemed to have been given to someone else.

Then we ordered drinks... 45min we waited! When I went and asked why, I was told it’s was only 1 person behind the bar and one bringing the drinks.

All that matter for some of the staff was to clear plates so more people could come in, however the food was horrible! Bearly anything on the counters.

The noodles were horrible!

When we thought let’s get dessert at least.... nothing left!

My friend asked for a drink and by the time we left this did not arrive!

My son was starving so stopped at MacDonalds... cheaper and he was happy!

When we complained the manager took £4.99 of the bill.

Today My friend and I have an upset tummy ! Great! Never again! Worst meal ever! Will never be back

We have been here numerous times before but decided to go on Mother’s Day. It was horrendously busy . We had booked a table but kept waiting 45mins in a overcrowded reception with 3 kids one of which was a newborn. When we were seated it was the most cramped table. Our drinks order was taken but it came back wrong . The food stations were empty for long periods of time. Staff were extremely rude. The problem was they just didn’t know how to turn people away and couldn’t keep up with the demand.ruined Mother’s Day for me unfortunately.

We came here yesterday with family and friends. My husband phoned before hand to ask about gluten free food which he was told they do loads of. When we arrived for our booked table at 12 my husband was ordered very rudely to sit and wait! After a 20 minute wait we were seated to our table. None of the staff spoke to us. We were first time customers so we didn't have a clue what's happens weather we help ourself or staff bring us plates ect . In the end we followed other diners to help ourselves. We then found out that there's no gluten free food available which left my sister in law unable to eat. My husband went over to a member of staff to complain who just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. He then went over to the lady on the front desk who was very rude and couldn't care less. We then informed they wouldn't charge my sister in law for eating which was extremely nice as she couldn't eat anyway!! This is the first and last time we'll ever eat at this restaurant. And we won't recommend it either.

Very disappointed. Me and my husband came to the restaurant last night for the first time.... Basically we waited 30 mins to get a table even when tables were empty. This is due to on arrival no welcoming and no 1 even there. I very under staffed. I was going to turn around as that many people were complaining about there bills...

Then all the way through are food from starters to desert there was hardly no food were you help your self. Eg. No curry in 4 out of 6 just sauce that was left from previous and not topped up

Literally no deserts apart from jelly and about 6 mini cakes. I'm very discusted with my expierance. The food I ate was nice dont get me wrong but I had to eat the same meal twice. We are also both feeling ill today left feeling sick and bad belly ache with repeating of your food.. I'm not fussy but this is a place to not go again and I can see why others are giving bad reviews its sad that your not actually bothered about our reviews as its not changed at all and it's people like us who keep your business going at this rate it will be shut down.

Used to be a nice place to go when it was the old restaurant with the boat in the middle since it’s refit it has lost a lot of character and now just like a food factory .

The quality of the food being served is not the same as before and the service of the staff isn’t great .

Don’t think I will be going back anytime soon .

Pros:

Food was great. Compliments to the chef(s).

Sam, the young waiter with glasses was also great.



Cons:

We were left waiting for more than 45 minutes for our drinks order.

The first waitress got our order wrong twice.

The second waitress (Hilary. Yes I checked your nametag.) got it wrong once, and didn't bother to come back/forgot about the rest of our drinks order for another 15 minutes.

We booked a table for 9 people; and were dumped in the children's area. Where one of said children promptly shit themselves and the smell lingered throughout our meal.

The birthday music is genuinely deafening.



Lastly, when we complained about the poor service from Hilary & Co, we were effectively told "Tough luck. It's busy."



If they'd told us that to begin with we would have happily collected our own drinks from the bar; but it's the attitude displayed by the staff (Other than Sam) that really ruined tonight.



All in all, would never come back.

Sam, get a job elsewhere.

Your talent is wasted in this establishment.

Overcrowded, rude staff, if your Chinese you get everything straight away if your not Chinese you'll wait and halfway through talking the staff will walk off. Food is limited and everything tastes the same. Table are crammed in leaving little space. Before the refit the place was at least light and inviting but now its dark and depressing. Better buffet restaurants out there this is one of the worst.

Came last night for Chinese New Year ... no food on counters for long periods of time ... drinks took forever ... table being cleared took forever... my son has been up all night and been ill all day with sickness and diarrhoea... apparently it’s 16.99 per person we were charged more than this why ? ... shocking service .. you were too busy just trying to fit more people on than serving the customers you already had ... shocking !!!! Avoid !!!!

Absolutely disgusted.Arrived there to find that as my 10 year old daughter was over 1.4 metres tall (just) we would be charged full price for her!! So what they are saying is that all children over that height simply must have the same size appetite as an adult?!!! Absolutely laughable!!! Needless to say won't be dining there ever!!
