Wonderful 1st trip away in our new trailer tent. John and Angela could not be more helpful and friendly. Stunning quiet surroundings, laid back feel. Clean and modern facilities. Wonderful time and will return!!!!!! Highly recommended

Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights. We loved the site, despite the rain. The best showers we have found on a site, no shop or cafe or launderette, none of which mattered to us but just to make you aware and plan ahead. Camp fires allowed, very dog friendly and a great place for children.

The lakes and wildlife were spectacular. Didn't take a dip ourselves but those that did had great fun jumping off the Jetty with their dogs.

Would definitely recommend and return

We stayed at Woodside Lodge Country Park over the past few days in the family pod! We absolutely loved it, beautiful grounds, remote setting surrounded by lovely villages, welcoming staff and pretty decent facilities for a campsite! The fairy door trail is a must if you have little ones. Our two had the best time (ages 1 and 4). Highly recommend!

We have just returned from a few perfect days camping at Woodside. Our group included 10 children from 3-13 and 4 dogs!!! We will most definately be returning

This is our second visit to Woodside, would recommend it for a quiet weekend with the dogs. The lodges are well equipped and comfortable, we stayed in the VIP lodge with the hot tub. It's not far to the nearest supermarket and Ledbury and Ross on Wye are nice places to visit

Thank you so much! We have had an amazing break away. The lodge was lovely and all the green space and lakes are fabulous. The dogs are upset to be home and kids have a new found hobby... fishing thanks for this experience we will be back

Quiet location. Staff very helpful. A few nice walks around for the dog. Although I don’t fish the lakes offer something for those that do.

User

Owners so friendly, toilets spotless, views stunning and a lake for the kids to swim in on an extremely hot day. Couldn't ask for more!

Our second visit to Woodside Lodges 14 - 18 May, stayed in Springpool VIP lodge this time which is one of 3 larger lodges, last time here we were in Kites Nest Lodge. We love it here, it’s so relaxing, the lodges are the best we have stayed in. Only 2 of us and Dog in May but Springpool Lodges would be great for larger parties as they are bigger and very well equipped and the VIP lodge has a hot tub which is immaculately clean. The country park is brill for the dog and very well looked after. Ledbury is only short drive away and has some lovely cafes and couple of nice ladies shops, the Tudor buildings. there make it so different with lots of history. We’re going back in July, different lodge again but know that it will be just as good as the others because the owners maintain them all to such a high standard.

Our second visit and just booked another one for nxt weekend, it's the only place we have gone back too, the facilities are of an excellent standard, always clean and well stocked with good quality toilet roll, washing up area sparkles, camping field is on a slight hill but it doesn't affect anything. The hire of the fire pits is brilliant and adds to the camping experience and the wood you can buy is good value. We wud certainly recommend Woodside. Dog friendly and kiddy friendly.

Lovely clean beautiful site. Lodges brilliant, didn't want to leave after 4 nights, so well equipped, and spacious. Under floor heating is great and log fire so cosy, although weather mild for October half term still had to light it for effect. My 9 year old son and 17 year old step daughter had 3 days fishing with their dad and caught loads, which kept them interested, great bonding time. Malamute, Bear, was exhausted in the evening after lots of walks around all the fields and ponds. Would highly recommend Woodside Lodges and will hopefully go back sometime soon.

Just spent the most fabulous 4 days camping here with our 2x dogs. Helen was lovely on reception and talked us through where to go. We pitched on an electric pitch in the cider mill field. Every morning we just walked 100 paces down to a lovely lake and let the dogs off for a quick run around. Beautiful place, clean toilets and showers which were cleaned at least three times a day when we were there. Even, flat pitch and beautiful surroundings. Definitely going to become one of our regular campsites!!! Fabulous for adults, dogs and children. Lots of people just turned up ad hoc as we have had such good weather but loads of space and they have a higher top field which was sloped, which housed mainly touring vans. Little shop at reception and beautiful lodges that you can rent just off reception with a further wooded area behind. Little gem of a site!!! Thank you

Just had an awesome weekend here with our dogs lovely peaceful place clean n tidy just a shame no soap dispenser or any soap in toilets to wash hands but had a brill time x

User

Hospitality and location perfect and my boys were amazed by the wildlife. The fields and ponds to walk around are beautiful. The pod we stayed in was really spacious and was very cosy but unfortunately our heater stoped working through the night which left us all cold but still fantastic experience the whole park is very clean and looked after. Thank you

User

Fantastic place for camping. Kids love the lake to swim in. Very friendly and helpful staff.

User

Excellent place to stay, decent showers and toilets that are clean and well maintained. Cheap fishing in the lakes which are well stocked and cheap firewood. No nearby shop within walking distance that we could find so be prepared with food essentials. I would definitely come again.

User

A beautiful place lovely friendly staff. The lodges are lovely and so tranquil. Dog friendly

Just returned from a rather nice weekend in a Camping Pod. Pods are basic and unfurnished but do have an electric socket, a light and a heater and they are well insulated for warmth and noise. We arrived with all our camping essentials, bar the tent, and we were just fine! Pods are in the wood and close (perhaps a little close) to toilets/showers. The Country Park is lovely and quite extensive with conservation ponds and wild swimming. We brought our lively pair of spaniels and plenty of on-lead walks and off-lead runs available. :-)
