No need to send crisp packets to landfill! A crisp packet recycling point is now in place at Worcester's Guildhall (High Street - WR1 2EY). Go through the main entrance and it's in foyer, to the right of the main staircase.
The scheme is run by Walkers Crisps, but any brand can be deposited here (as long as it's a crisp packet - no other snacks please!) When we've collected enough, TerraCycle UK will collect them and and convert the packets in to new products.
There are also crisp packet recycling points at Tudor Grange Academy, Blessed Edwards College and the Heart of Worcestershire College.

Worcester is a wonderful piece of England. If every town and city was as English as this then Brexit would not have happened. A great example of a city that has retained it's English identify instead of being turned into a cultural and religious spaghetti and ice cream miss match. It seems to have encouraged integration instead of encouraging separation and segregation. When in Rome?

Worcester has got it right. Just a pity that the politicians and most of England councils got it wrong.

And that is why we have Brexit.

Worcester is a beautiful city with a perfect mix of shopping and restaurants combined with historical buildings and a beautiful riverside walk. As soon as I arrived I got a great feeling about the place and really enjoyed walking around the pretty town centre and along the river. I'll be visiting many times in the future.

A beautiful city with lots of lovely and interesting buildings. The Guildhall is surprisingly beautiful. The Cathedral though has it all. History, timeless atmosphere and beauty in abundance.

Having lived here off and on for well over four decades it is now the only place I class as home.

User

Worcester is pretty in parts. The old stuff is great. Big old churches, ice age rivers and civil war stuff. Brill. What wasn't so brill was the high street. Too many coffee shops. The people were perhaps trying to hard and were super friendly warm and polite. Worcester is the place you've heard of because of a penny pinching member of Parliament but never visited. You really should.

User
