Wrekin Riders Bmx Race Club

What a day! 300 riders, wonderful sunshine and blue skies and a fab atmosphere with top racing. Those of you who took a tumble may have been treated by the medics in our new clubhouse/welfare room. It is only in a temporary position until all the grounds works are done but it served as a great facility today. We would like to thank Rotary Club Wellington, Shropshire for their amazing support in funding this cabin. It was great to see and hear the children thanking Rotarian Peter Seaward today as he visited to watch some BMX racing. #communityclub #volunteerstogether

Wrekin Riders is an amazing club and welcomes all regardless of age and ability. My four year old and five year old started at novice sessions and loved it so much they now both race regional level. It's so much fun and keeps them fit. Come and have a go on a Sat or Sun from 10am to noon for novice - it's only £2 a session too!

Wow! 1st national for us & what an amazing experience, club was fantastic, track was fab (according to the kids), we will definitely be back at some point!

What ana amazing night our scout group had at Wrekin riders. We took a mixed age group (6 years to 14 years) and all of Very mixes ability. By the end of the sessions even those with little confidence in a bike were on the track. Kieran, Callum and Kirsty were all so encouraging and so patient. As a group we will definitely be returning for another go... even the leaders want a leaders only session next time too � thank you so much to all of you.

We have raced here a few times - not only a great track but a lovely, helpful and inclusive club. Everyone welcome and you'll get as much help as you need.

We had a great time at the toddler session on Wednesday. Kieran was incredibly enthusiastic and patient with my son and really encouraged him to try the big track. Can't wait until next week!

Took my two sons to a friends birthday party there. Excellent facility and Kieran was great at showing the kids how to safely go round the track. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

To the guy Keiran for saving the day, upmost respect to the guy! Can not complain one bit!

And amazing track and very very very well looked after. Hope this continues for the foreseeable future.

Thank you, in 45mins you have greatly increased the confidence of my son riding a bike. I was shocked and proud to see him get onto the track, we will be back!

Thank you for making us feel so welcome to the club. Chester really enjoyed his first race,and is looking forward to the next one. It's also nice to have a competitive environment which is friendly too.

Ollie has loved the BMX after school club, it's been great fun training both at school and on the track!! The welcoming atmosphere and encouragement given to all of the children has been amazing too, so thank you!!

My two sons took part in the Lawley cubs event. Have to say fantastic both are asking to go back the 6 yr old said it was wicked and the 10yr old said it was sick. Will definitely be using again �

My sons 3rd week here, and have got to say it's amazing, my son has learnt so much in 3weeks and can't wait to get there every Saturday, thank you to Kieran and the rest of the team, lovely atmosphere, very welcoming, my sons confidence is growing every week,

So glad we found this awesome place and my son has found a new passion �

My lad had a great day today; thankyou so much Kieran for looking after him he hasn't stopped talking about it or you since we got home! We will be back :)

My daughter (12) did this last night as part of a scout trip. She loved it! Very rare do I see her so animated about trips out. Hoping she wants to continue. Staff are fantastic and so supportive

Fabulous facility and lovely club members. Nothing so too much trouble for them. Telford is lucky to have such an amazing track. ��

Came down today for the first time with my little lad Lewis for the novice session and he loved it just for the cost of a few quid. Everyone was very helpful and it was well run. Only wish I'd had a go myself!�
