Well done to all who arranged this. Excellent festival the layout it almost didn't feel like West Park as it seemed bigger. It's also really good for West Park to have something totally different from the fairs also. The security staff were friendly and quick to see issues. The litter pickers made sure that areas were constantly tidy. The toilets were restocked frequently and overall the atmosphere was lovely.

Well Done Wv1 Fest !! Had a fantastic weekend. Majority of the bands were fab, It's a shame Slipknot & Pantera cover bands weren't on the main stage as they were great. Event was very well organised, not overcrowded, just the right amount of people, toilets were kept clean and surrounding areas of the event litter free. My only small moan would be that it's a shame we couldn't take our own food & drinks in as it worked out very expensive weekend & needed a bit more variety of food vendors, but other than that had an amazing time an bumped into a lot of people I hadn't seen for a while which was great. Well done and will look forward to next year

We came to see Aladdin Sane tribute on the Sunday , great band , lovely crowd of all ages ,plenty of room to dance .Very well organized event , lots to see and do and eat and drink , great value for money , well done !!!!

This was my first year and I attended without my kids as I wasn't sure what to expect!!

Wow!!

Absolutely fantastic time was had.

The bands were awesome, the crowd was friendly - not too many people!

Lots of stalls & things going on.

Really enjoyed it and will be making this an annual thing - bringing the rug rats next time!

Would be ace if there was a camp site!!!

This should come back to Wolverhampton next year!As much as people love to put this city down,we know how to rock and roll with the best of them!Typical festival price if not cheaper than most festivals now a days for a beer.Food was cheap enough or nearby shops and take aways to visit.The toilets were superb compared to the bigger festivals and maintained well enough.Enough room to move and leaving the festival site wasn't a scrum at the end of the night.The weather was decent too.Only gripe I have is water points were not around but if they were,not clearly posted.If this doesn't happen next year in Wolverhampton it would be a shame as I feel it was a success

Such a well organised festival. Went yesterday with my 2.5 year old. Lots of security, lots of room. Bands were top notch and pleased all the people who went without kids were happy to move or make allowances. I'm a seasoned festival person, was my first with a child. Only bugbear is not enough loos and perhaps you could put some extra large room ones in for us that went on own with a buggy! Definitely recommended to others and hope it's on again next year!

Myself and the boys from Van Hailen loved it and would like to thank all those that cheered us on. Opening the show is never the easiest of slots but you all made us feel welcome and you rocked. Thanks to Jools and the gang for another great festival! Would love to see you all again in 2017! =VH=

Literally one of the best festivals I've been to had such a good weekend security we're on point food was lovely brilliant festival, slipknowt impressed me more than the actual slipknot and put on an amazing live show, outstanding

I thought this was brilliant and exactly what Wolverhampton needed. We went both days, seemed a little busier on the Saturday but even then, the longer queues for the beer tents and toilets went down quite fast. They had people out picking litter and replenishing the toilets throughout the day, and on arrival a security guy handed me some ear bud thingies for my kid, which I didn't even consider before coming because I really didn't think he'd be interested in the music much, but he moshed his tiny butt off in the Planet tent, so thank you to that guy. The atmosphere was amazing, the food from What's Cooking was lovely (Gutted I didn't see the Cheese & Iron stall first though....next time, Gadget, next time) and the folk running the funfair were really friendly, especially the woman doing the funhouse who had loads of patience with our kids not wanting to get off the hamster wheel bit and just let them stay there

I have been to WV1 fest twice now and I love it! It is a perfect chance for family and friends to get together to enjoy a weekend full of great music, food and drink. The event is family friendly and it is lovely seeing young children enjoy listening to the rock genre!

Had a brilliant day yesterday, not really my type of music but just really enjoyed it and so did all my friends... Maybe next year have a little dance tent on the other field and it would be perfection. Congratulations everybody involved in the organisation you did a very good job! Bring on 2017

Great festival, a few nice stalls and a little fair. Toilets pretty clean and well stocked with loo rolls. Friendly staff. Only thing for me was that the food was a bit pricey when you've got a few children with you. More vegan/ vegetarian food next time please, especially as you're not allowed to take in your own grub. So more of a variety should be on offer. ...but over all a great day out. The pearl jam tribute were fab. ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Good atmosphere great meeting all types of people was a different range of music this time to last year so good for all audiences but daft punk was the best there by far on the Sunday

First time at one of these events and thought it was excellent. The quality of the bands was superb. ┬Ż4 a pint is nothing in the grand scheme of things and the quality of food was pretty good for a festival



One piece of constructive advice would just be on the scheduling.... there were a few times where there was no bands playing in either stage then you have Slipnowt and Megadeth UK at the same time...both great bands. A little more care and both would have had the place rocking



Overall it was awesome and we will be back with a larger group next year!! Can someone tell me if there is an FB page for the overall group of festivals as we did not know about the other 3. Dont want to miss them next year! Cheers...

Brilliant weekend had by us from norwich our 4 year old boy loved it , it was very relaxed and chilled atmosphere clean toilets etc , the litter pickers were friendly , bands were brilliant , we were more than happy to buy food and drink , but i thought we would of been able to take a packed lunch for our boy, saying that he enjoyed the hot dogs chips n ice cream. More next year please , our boy corey has requested an ozzy / black sabbath tribute .thanks for a great weekend !!

If you see a negative review, itŌĆÖs probably off someone that is known for being a mardybum that goes out and finds fault in anything.

Great festival.

How they put this event on for just the cost of the booking fee is amazing. Obviously, food & drink is more expensive than you'd like, but not astronomical. Security staff are actually human, not the pig-ignorant thugs often associated with this type of event. Another great thing is that there's no pathetic restriction on people taking photos: snap away to your heart's content. A great event, organised with the visitor in mind, not the money-grabbers!

Fab weekend for the second year running! Great acts, great atmosphere, very well organised as always. Was lovely to see so many kids having a great time too. Only gripe really was the few idiots being more aggressive than is really acceptable at the front considering there were young kids nearby.

3rd year of attending VIP section. This year VIP has more people, is more expensive but has less to recommend it based on previous years. One of the biggest pluses about VIP was the cover you got. Last year there was a big area of cover for people using deck chairs and bean bags. This year itŌĆÖs missing and only the benches seem protected. Please sort this out for next year. Spoilt what was otherwise great day.
