What a fab day had by all and on into the night ,Luke and team done a great job. We had a BBQ ,disco ,bouncy castle and great atmosphere x

Visited here numerous occasions .. Warm , friendly .. Great jukebox , live music ( top artists ! ) , good value .. Cosy surroundings , dog friendly .. Pool table .. Car park .. Close to Bromsgrove central high street .. 5 mins on foot !

Top venue for live bands, great audience, excellent landlord/lady for a band its a top venue recommended for playing and watching bands, The Rooters are already booked for 2018!!!

Tonight was such a better atmosphere, so glad it has new management now at least it can be brought back up to standard by someone who knows what they are doing! Onwards and upwards!

Popped in to try out the food...have to say amazing value for money, homemade chips awesome...will be back.

Love the pub, wouldn't want to stay there (haunted) but really love the bands, shame there not on Friday, like used to be, as we would go there all the time

If you like reasonably priced drinks, live music and a great atmosphere then this is the best pub in bromsgrove. Lucille and Steve are brilliant hosts and you're always assured of a warm welcome.

Had a great mixed grill on Monday , brill value for money well worth a visit for those that have not gone yet x

Big shout out to Dave Blackburn and Karen Blackburn for their amazing Sunday lunch at the black cross pub!! They sorted out lunch for 14 people with 24hours notice - and a birthday cake too!! fantastic food, great portion sizes, I've not seen my kids eat that much of a roast before.... tasted like a proper home cooked Sunday lunch �� really appreciate it and reccomend it to all! Best Landlord in Bromsgrove, thanks Luke for giving us a lift home from the Black Cross to our doorstep in the awful snow yesterday. That’s what we call service. Cheers, Suzi and Jim ��

first time going here, great experience they put on a free bouncy castle , face panting,disco and food! Was a really good day thanks for the entertainment kids enjoyed themselves this is one pub I will be returning to if they put stuff on for kids again! makes it family friendly when Owners think of children especially young children toilets were clean and smelt pleasant too lol at least 5 thumbs up from us :)

Nice pub, great landlord who, given time, will get the beer as good as that enjoyed at the Red Lion.

I was only there a few minutes as part of a local ceremony but the ale was good, the one room was stunning with its old beams and tudor look.

Would definately like to visit for the bands and food again.

Went last night for a couple of drinks but unfortunately only stayed for a quick one , the sound system in the front bar is terrible and tinny , was so bad it made us leave which is a shame because the actual music choice was brilliant and the atmosphere is always good , don't want to sound like an old grouch I enjoy my nights out as much as anyone but please please sort the speakers out!
