Its Volunteers' Week and we want thank the amazing people from Marksandspencer and Warwick Volunteers for volunteering their time painting for us. Their hard work at John White Community Centre, where we run some of our #youthwork sessions, is so appreciated.

During this Mental Health Awareness week we encourage you to take a stand against unrealistic beauty ideals by joining more than a thousand people and signing up to our Body Image Pledge.
By signing the Pledge, individuals are making a commitment to limit or stop editing their pictures for social media, hold brands and organisations accountable if they lack diversity or promote unhealthy body image, celebrate their body’s achievements rather than their looks and spread the word about the Pledge to encourage more people to support the movement.

In this Mental Health Awareness Week, we are launching a new report called ‘The Curate Escape’ which reveals that almost two thirds of young people (61%) feel pressure to look their best online and more than two thirds (67%) regularly worry about the way they look.

To all of our Sleep Easy participants, there is still time to donate online or to chase those last few sponsors for the all important extra pounds. We have passed the £7000 mark and would love to increase this even more!
All of the money raised will go towards replacing the carpets and flooring in our housing projects, which give young people a place to call home.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up to fundraise at tonight's Sleep easy event.
Our particular thanks go to Coventry Rugby Club for providing the venue and two players, Co-op ndc coventry Distribution Centre for donating all the cardboard for the event and for putting in a team of 18, Eddie Stobart Logistics for donating a van to transport all the cardboard, John Kiely (McDonald's) for donating a security guard for the night and breakfast, EMK Events for donating a second security guard, Langar Aid and 2018 participant Esther who will be providing supper, supporters Allison, Carole and Coventry Foodbank for offering their support Eden - more than coffee for donating all our hot drink cups. Also our anonymous donor who kindly donated £45 towards foil blankets and gaffer tape.
