We were some of the first to take advantage of their dial-a-delivery service and we were not disappointed at all. The food was absolutely delicious and we are definitely going to make it a regular thing given our hectic schedules. We strongly recommend them for home and big occasions.
Took my husband and my cousin for a meal we had a good service and the food was great and the host very attentive we will be definitely going back and highly recommend
The staff are very friendly, made us feel welcome and the service was fast. Beautiful ambience and most importantly the food was FANTASTIC!! I had to shake the Chef's hand afterwards and the portions are so generous. I definitely will be going back soon!
The food was excellent& i also loved the presentation. However the service was poor, too slow, staff not properly trained they forgot to put our order which made us wait almost 2hrs. However there is a petite gal one of the staffs she works very hard and she tried her best and also the manager was very apologetic. Staff shortage on a busy day, I think you should hire more staff on busy times like easter etc.
Also it was not nice eating while pple are standing next to us talking loud in a restaurant. I think u shuld put a waiting area booth/sofa.
The food and service is excellent, enjoyed chilling there.
Really friendly staff, excellent food and good value! Was fantastic to sample some African cuisine, the seasoning on hubbies talipia was on point, the oxtail stew was rich and delicious, we loved the jolofu rice too! Recommending it to all my friends and we will be going back!
My husband and I enjoyed a great meal on Friday. The restaurant is clean although not very spacious. There is also a sitting area outside which should be fab this coming summer and it was lovely to see some kids playing in the garden. It took a good while for our meal to come but it was worth the wait because sadza was freshly served from the pot not cling filmed. I love my home cooked meals and that's what we got from Ekhaya. Meals are competitively priced a bit at the high end which in my opinion is a bit expensive. But will defo recommend.
I visited Ekhaya and l absolutely loved the standard atmosphere and food presentation the food tastes fresh and yummy l will be recommending this place to my friends family and associates well done guys! That's what l call good African Food!!
Great food and great service. Only one critisicm though, i noticed that as the ddmand became high the staff became a bit overwhelmed. Might be a great idea to employ a few extra hands after 9pm.
First time at Ekhaya and i loved it...the foooooood waaaaaas amaze-ballz took me right back home to chissa nyama chillaz...loved the vibe the cheffwas really great even danced with me n my friend...i will be coming back....keep it up guys
Fantastic and authentic Zimbabwean food. Excellent service Can’t wait to go back for another party in my tummy
Excellent - would recommend most definitely! Loved it
Enjoyed evening meal last night with my friend and kids. I must say I was more than impressed, the service was excellent very homely atmosphere and not to mention the lovely staff . The food was yummy yummy, tried almost everything on the menu from the starters to their mains mhhhhh ohh yes yes yes !!! Thank you guys
Amazing food and service! Definitely will be a returning customer. Felt like an important and valued customer! Asked for my jollof rice to be spicy and I wasn’t disappointed! My whole family were impressed by the food and the generous portions too also everything is served pupping hot! New location is stunning and easy to find! I’ll be returning for sure!
A group of us went to Ekhaya yesterday for the first time with our families.Ohhh the food was soo wonderful. We all enjoyed it so much.We had to do something that we had never done in any reataurant- we requested the Chef to come out so we could compliment him in person because the food was the best food we had tasted in a very long time.We had ribs, chicken sausage, fish, maguru, nzondora, gizzardsand many more.We enjoyed every bite. Those guys are good.Keep up the excellent standards pafood Ekhaya. We will be back very soon.Thank you for the wonderful meal.
Worst service. Waited an hour and a half for food. They served our food over someones head as they claimed it was packed, i complained about this to person who served, u cannot serve food like that. When we finished eating, nobody came to clear the table, we sat on the table for about 45min after eating and table was still not cleared till we left.
Pap and beef stew was nice but mixed grill had no flavour and meat was burnt.
Food was very tasty especially hot chicken livers but unfortunately not much choice for children, waitress service very good but as they where so rushed and under staffed a few things where missed off order
Service very poor, waited more than an hour to get the food. Did not get all what we paid for kept on asking. Food was served an hour apart. Mopihwa sadza momirira murivo abouts 20 minutes. Then no vergie you paid for. So dissapointed. Paid for chips got served wedges.
I have to say I was disappointed with the service . Food is not so bad but the service really needs improving . We waited two hours for our meal and when it arrived we had missing orders , only to be told the kitchen closed at 22:00 PM . Its definitely African Service in England .
