4Th Battalion The Parachute Regiment - 4 Para Description
4 PARA is a National Battalion which has units across the United Kingdom. 4 PARA was an amalgamation between 4, 10 and 15 PARA. We have companies based in Edinburgh, Glasgow (A Company), Croydon, White City (B Company), Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle Upon Tyne (C Company), and Rugby (D Company). The Battalion HQ and HQ Company, who support and administrate the Battalion are both based in Leeds.

Exercise Black Mohnie 4. Members of 4 PARA and 16X participated in an excellent AT package built around water activities which also included cycling and cultural visits. The location was Möhnesee, a municipality in the district of Soest, in North Germany. Great credit goes to Major John Bebb and WO2 Carrigan for putting the exercise together. The British Sail Sailing Centre also deserves much praise for hosting the exercise.
Congratulations, a proud day as B Company, 4PARA welcomed 2 newly commissioned Officers, including the Sword of Honour winner, to its ranks following completion of their 8 week British Army Reserve Commissioning Course at RMAS. The 8 week course is designed to teach, develop and test the Young Officers Military Skills and Leadership ability. 4 PARA soldiers have gone under an intensive communications package covering a variety of offensive and defensive deployments along side their regular counterparts from 2 & 3 PARA during a Joint Signals Cadre held in Thetford.
The Parachute Regiment is one of the toughest fighting forces in the world.

‘A’ Company took part in the Scottish Car Show in the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh today (15 July 2018).
Numerous members of the public made the effort to approach and compliment our staff on their outstanding efforts and good spirited public interaction. As you will see from the photos Chewbacca asked if he could join 4 Para today on the grounds that his moustache was slightly longer and thicker than our blokes, but alas he is too tall to get out the aircraft door... so we sent him to the Royal Marines, not a happy Chewbacca...

The UK Paras are the strongest force all over the world!!!
Oh yes 4Para, Leeds Liverpool Newcastle way. Apparently 16 Lincoln company was added. At least it would have saved all those dismal trips to 15 Para in Jockland.
