All my friends and followers who work in the early years... join a union!
Most of the early years workforce are young people who joined settings straight from school or college and with more and more settings becoming parts of chains it's so important to know your rights! I've been unfortunate enough to work for several companies (small and large) who mistreat and exploit their employees and because we are naive and inexperienced they get away with it.
Luckily I have recently... started with a company who have a dedicated HR manager and who advocate for their staff and their well-being but I am still constantly hearing tales of people being treated horribly.
The new Ofsted inspection framework has a big emphasis on well-being and inspectors will be asking staff how they are treated and it's about time.
Being a member of a union means you have support and advice from those who really know what they're talking about! It really is money well spent.

Riverside lunch with one of my favourite people on the planet ♥️

We love Aimee! I first met Aimee when my baby boy was starting nursery and I was about to head back to work and we've been close ever since. She really understands children and also related to parents. Aimee became our babysitter and there was always great excitement when Aimee was coming and we never had any doubts about leaving our son in Aimee's care. She is kind, caring, sweet, fun, enthusiastic, clever and oh so loving. She makes everything an adventure and teaches many things, including life lessons, along the way. Every child she spends time with feels listened to, cared for and special and that is why my now 8 year still speaks of her fondly and wonders when she is next flying back across the world to spend time with him!

Not only do I consider Aimee one of my best friends; I also consider her one of the most professional and knowledgable, caring and understanding, crazy and patient humans I have ever met.



The passion Aimee shows to children and families alike is admirable; she is always willing to listen, support and guide families.



Aimee is the first person I ever left my children with outside of the family and i would never worry about doing it; she has a special way with children of all ages and can engage a child into anything!!

I've known Aimée since my boys were 2 and 4 and she was my lifeline. My boys are now 14 and almost 16, and still love her, even though she disappeared to the other side of the world! She says all her friends are small people, but without her being my friend too, me and my boys would have seriously struggled. I can't recommend Aimée enough; there's a lot of heart inside that lady. ❤️

Aimee, is a fantastic child carer and educator. She looked after my daughter from age 1-4 when she started school. She is the only person that we have ever trusted as a babysitter outside of the family and can honestly say that my daughter would not be the person she is today without Aimee. Aimee always finds a fun way of doing the most tedious of tasks. She encourages the child to learn while playing, setting activities to suit individuals as well as groups. My daughter is very curious and Aimee always found ways to nurture this side of her personality with positive encouragement. I would not hesitate to recommend Aimee to anyone. Good luck Aimee in all your future endeavours!

Aimee is the only person, other than my mum, who I felt comfortable leaving my little girl with. She was 1 at the time. Aimee always thought of different and fun activities for her time with my daughter. My daughter loved Aimee straight away. Aimee has an amazing way about her, and she can brighten up anyone's day. Wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Aimee is first and foremost, lots of fun! All children love her and gravitate towards her. She respects their opinions whilst setting very clear behavioural boundaries. She is firm but fair. She is a good organiser and is extremely creative and imaginative. She is very reliable.



She is clear, concise and consistent with the children - they always know what to expect from her. Aimee is always honest with parents, which helps us to trust her completely.



Next to my parents, Aimee is the person I would always turn to if I needed help with the children. She genuinely loves them and they feel comfortable and happy in her company. There is a picture of her on our kitchen wall and we often chat about her. I can honestly say that I am delighted that she came into our lives and has had such a positive impact on my daughters.

Aimee is amazing! I only have 2 girls outside of my Family who look after my Daughter and Aimee is one of them. Aimee has such a special talent with children and loves and cares for them as if they were her own. I myself am a Maternity Nanny and worked as nanny for 20 years. Aimee is one of a handful of nannies that I would highly reccomend.

Aimee is a dedicated and highly knowledgeable childcare professional. Her approach towards childcare is inspiring, she is a positive influence on everyone she interacts with.
