Dravet syndrome is a catastrophic rare form of epilepsy which starts to affect newborns before 10 weeks of age, starting with seizures that can often develop into wider problems such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties & more. Those affected live with an ever present high risk of SUDEP - Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy.
Dravet Syndrome UK is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet synd...rome through support, education and medical research.

Our charity of the month this month is Aireborough Voluntary Services to the Elderly (AVSED)! They support and work with over 400 older people to prevent them from experiencing social isolation in Leeds.
We're raising funds for them by asking customers to add a voluntary £1 donation to their bill. And we'll be adding an additional £500 too!

Padron season is one of our favourite times of year!! It's one of the true tastes of Spanish summertime and are perfect with a crisp glass of fino in the sun!
Our padrons are grown locally in Wigginton, York. And we send our staff every year to learn how they grow, pick some and cook some at the padron farm!

Went there today for the first time and loved it food was lovely and the whole place had a really nice laid back atmosphere , will definitely be going again.

The staff were amazing. I'm allergic to a couple of things so set menus can be a nightmare but they went out of their way to make sure I was catered for. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Christmas sharing menu. We will be back again for sure

The best tapas I’ve eaten in the UK! The menu has a great range of dishes- particularly for seafood. Incredible food and staff went above and Beyond- they were really friendly and made my boyfriend’s 30th a truly special occasion! I can’t wait to go back!

Second year in a row for the Christmas tapas. Amazing service, ever better food. For the second year all the staff went above and beyond to ensure all members of the party were catered for. Highly recommend it and will he returning very soon!

I went to the sherry dinner. The food was fantastic and visually stunning. The food and sherry for each course had been carefully selected to complement each other. The seating arrangements worked well, allowing the diners to mix. The staff as usual were attentive. There is a passion for food and customer service at Ambiente which transfers itself to the diner. Can't recommend this place enough!

I absolutely love this place! Good people and lovely food! I like to take people there if I like them for a special treat. The service may be a little laid back. Patience! This is NOT a "fast food" establishment. If that is your bag? Go to McDonald's up the road! :-) (The staff' are always friendly, polite, helpful and jocular). A big big thumbs up from me, my family and all my friends! :-)

First time visiting today with my partner, we ate from the 3 for £10.95 tapas menu and everything was lovely! Great guy who was our waiter,friendly and chatty - we will be coming again thank you �

Came here for my “special birthday” the first thing I was asked was if I have allergies - yes shellfish / origin, the normal menu was brought to me with a separate one colour coding what I could have and what I couldn’t! Brilliant!

Staff great, clean, fab views, amazing food,fizz, cocktails, extensive sherry menu etc. Good value also - probably my favourite place In Leeds. Can’t wait to return.

Absolutely fabulous. Called in whilst floating through Leeds, food exquisite, staff brilliant, ambiance on the terrace looking over the river a real treat. Sun was shining. Yes, best Tapas I've had I thing. ��

We had a great meal here. The food was terrific, full of flavour and just like the real thing. The service was friendly and efficient but the experience was spoiled by the party of Japanese who were drunk on whisky. So much so that one girl, obviously underage, had to be carried out to be sick in the toilets!

To be fair never eaten there but go for a nice Spanish style sherry. Limited range of sherries but delicious and refreshing. Bit pricey for a sherry but that is where Britain cannot replicate Spain.

Lovely meal, only complaint was the lack of non-alcoholic beer and the number of flies!

Amazing food and will ABSOLUTLEY be going back! I got a voucher for my 30th birthday from friends and I’d never been before but I ADORE tapas!!!! I would recommend the crab and shrimp croquettes and the calamari!!!! Like many of the other reviews though the service was nowhere near as good as the food. Very slow and appeared disorganised even though the manager was lovely and very much on it. The waitresses seemed inexperienced and just forgot about customers. There was a 20 minute wait from her clearing our plates away to getting the dessert menu then another 20 minute wait from getting the menu to ordering dessert (for which she never brought us spoons!) in the end I asked for the bill straight away (I don’t usually do this as I like to sit and relax but given the wait for everything else I thought it best) but then she never came back for the money/card machine! In the end we waited around 25 minutes and just got up and walked to the counter to Pay. At this point I told the manager of our service and she was very professional and apologetic. I wouldn’t mind if it was packed but it wasn’t even that busy. However, this wouldn’t stop me going again as the food was so delicious and well presented, nice atmosphere too. Just next time I will give myself more time theIf and get their early!!!

Left waiting for meat dishes 40 minutes after salad and veg dishes arrived (only then because we got up and asked someone what was going on). Our waitress said she'd ask the kitchen but there was no update on progress or an apology. Finally arrived, again no apology. Our waitress then went off shift! No one came to our table to see if everything was ok. When we told a new waitress what had happened we were told she'd investigate. They cleared the plates but again no explaination or apology given. We asked whether the excessive wait and lack of service would be reflected in the bill. We received 10% off but still no apology. At the very least I'd have thought they could have stretched to a round of drinks on the house AND an apology! Very disappointing.
