Anita made my nephew a book advent calendar, themed around the things he likes and at an appropriate reading age for him. Each day leading up to Christmas he has a beautifully wrapped present to open, and a book he can share with his mum. He is loving it! His mum is super impressed with the selection of books, and it is giving them something fun to share each day - this is extra special for her, as he has autism, and doesn't always want to communicate.
