We are currently recruiting an Engineer with tooling experience for our client in Halifax on a permanent basis.
Candidates must be able to: Work in a tool room and factory floor environment Identify typical faults and correctly remove, replace and maintain... Produce parts needed in repairs on both machines and tools, on lathe, miller and pillar drill i.e. jigs, spindles, rollers and drilled and milled plates Produce, install & align shafts Stick weld Pace Grind Correctly remove and refit various types of bearings Correctly dismantle and replace drive belts
The ideal candidate will also have some press maintenance experience and an understanding of motors and drives.
The role is full time and offered on a permanent basis with a salary of up to £22,000 per annum.
