Ashfield are delighted to announce the successful delivery of another stunning residential remodelling project. Designed by Gagarin Studio Limited, this high-end bespoke scheme has transformed the property with a substantial open-plan dining kitchen and living room awash with natural light through extensive glazing and rooflights. We’ve also extended the first-floor space with a new bathroom and en-suite bedroom with balcony.

Every Ashfield project has a client and stakeholders that need to be served. Our approach always follows the same collaborative and consultative process, whether we're dealing with an experienced developer, the wider community or a client commissioning their first project.
The client at our Marchcroft project in Sowerby Bridge falls into that last category. This exciting residential extension scheme was created by Gagarin Studio, an award-winning team of architects with a sim...ilar approach to client service. As a like-minded company, following Gagarin’s architectural design process came naturally to Ashfield and the project began with a series of meetings and discussions with the client and design team to gain a complete understanding of the objectives. To Ashfield, that initial consultation is the most important stage of any project.
Having absorbed the client’s requirements, Ashfield’s team is making excellent progress, including the completion of the extension roof, cedar cladding and extensive full-height glazing which will enhance the space with an abundance of natural light. The interiors are also approaching a finished state. Work continues with in tandem with ongoing consultation and communication with the client. The feedback has been extremely positive and we are looking forward to making another client very happy with the delivery of this amazing residential concept to the agreed budget and programme.

Ashfield are delighted to be teaming up once again with Ilkley-based Niche Design Architects on another residential project which is set to deliver beautiful contemporary space.
The concept at our project in Rounday, Leeds, has echoes of Ashfield’s previous collaboration with Niche at Mount Pleasant in Ilkley, where a larger extension scheme was defined by true open-plan living. The key element to the project is an extension to the side elevation which also has no distinct di...visions between the kitchen, dining and living areas – providing the versatility to apply a range of interpretations to the use of this expansive room.
Ashfield will incorporate underfloor heating throughout and a raised deck to the rear of the property will be replaced with new decking. We will also install a bi-folding door system that provides access to the decking area with a seamless transition from open-plan to open-air.

We’re delighted to report some impressive progress at Ashburn House in Ilkley, where the conversion of a large Victorian building into a range of luxury apartments presents technical challenges that would deter less skilled and experienced contractors.
Everyone involved has been eagerly awaiting the formation of the internal space into something which gives a discernible feel for what the completed properties will be like. This has required a degree of patience due to the sca...le and complexity of the remodelling scheme, but the interior work is really starting to take shape and it won’t be long before we see eight luxurious apartments come to life.
The team has worked extremely efficiently to excavate the basement in preparation for its damp-proof course and the side extension is also shaping up well. Very determined work from the team!

The space is really coming to life at our Marchcroft residential extension project in Sowerby Bridge. The technical design elements are coming together to form the basis of this clever and aesthetically impressive concept by Gagarin Studio. We can already picture the finished article - and we like what we see!

It’s full speed ahead at our Ashburn House project in Ilkley - we’ve stripped out the main house and carried out extensive excavations to the basement, allowing us to push on with the construction of seven stunning luxury apartments. Fantastic to see the whole Ashfield Team working fully in-sync to handle this technically challenging development.

Difficult renovation projects are often described as a labour of love, but Ashfield see them more as a labour of pride. For us, it’s about professional satisfaction in a job well done and our ability to rise to the challenge of the most complex brief.

Ashfield ticked off another key stage in the creative remodelling of a detached house in Sowerby Bridge following the installation of the apex portal frame which forms the roof structure on the extended space designed by Gagarin Studio.
The roofing will be fitted with natural blue slate and a metre-long section will form a new covered balcony area. Ashfield have also done plenty of internal work, including structural alterations and skimming. We’re now busy with the M&E first fix!
