Surprised to see some of the comments posted here as we have always found the food excellent. This is one of our favourite places to eat when we visit Bluewater and always receive a warm welcome from the staff, who we have always found to be attentive and efficient, whilst allowing us to eat at our own pace. We have never felt rushed between courses or have had to wait too long even at very busy times. I always complete the online feedback, but unfortunately tonight there was a problem with my computer and I had only just started when the screen froze and when I tried to get back to the survey I was unable to do so as the computer program recognised my survey code and didn't allow me in a "second time".

However, if this is the only way I can pass on my comments about today's visit, I can confirm that we received excellent service from our waiter Mahmut (as usual), our food was beautifully cooked and the duty Manager Scott was not only interested in how we were enjoying our meal, but we noticed that he was really "hands on" welcoming people at the entrance, helping families with young children to be seated where they felt comfortable, ensuring that customers received their drinks from the bar promptly and generally making everyone feel welcome. We even had a special "hello" from Luke the waiter who had served us on a previous visit. I do hope that anyone who felt that they did not receive the service they had expected at ASK took the time to communicate that to the Manager at the time or by way of the online feedback as our experience has always been that the staff go out of their way to ensure that we enjoy our visits to ASK and that is why we return there so often.

Staff always fabulous. Quick efficient service - good tasty food. Cater well for coeliacs. Would say I was a little disappointed that the NEW pumpkin Aracini has cheese in as this was not listed in the ingredients in the menu but they happily swapped to a soup no problem. Highly recommended.

Ask is a brilliant place to go in Bluewater. The staff are friendly and helpful and the service is great. Never had a bad meal here and we go here a lot. 😊

Started with the Calamari then a frutti de mare pasta

Lunch time meal on a weekday so quite quiet. Good service and meal. My husband had sea bass and enjoyed it but quite on the small side and the coffee machine had broken so no cappacino for me � overall a good meal and would go again.

Great service and waiter was really helpful. Was served very quickly. I had the prawns as starter after his recommendation and they were absolutely amazing. All 4 of our starters were amazing. The mains however let it down. I had sea bass (again after a recommendation from our waiter) it lacked flavour and was quite bland. The others has pasta which was average. Would def go back and would have a meze of starters

Been here before and its usually good but tonight it was lacking that special something. Booked a table for my daughter's birthday got a nice table but service was slow in places, staff seemed rushed off their feet maybe down to a busy Saturday Night and queues to get in. Food portions seemed smaller than usual and as my husband ordered a fish dish but didn't like squid 1/5 fish in the dish they didn't give him the choice of an alternative. Small things but would have been a 5* if did the above.

The wine was poured directly into both glasses - no asking if it was ok first. The chicken ceasar salad had only chicken and lettuce and dressing with some bread. No cheese, anchovies or anything else. The only time I have ever eaten all the lettuce as there was not much.

Service was quick but not particularly friendly.

Hi I’m not sure if this is the right place to write this but me and Mum had lunch with you on Thursday 30th March. Unfortunately both of us come Friday afternoon felt dreadfully unwell and suffered D&V. We both ate the same pizza, your ‘Easter special’ of slow roast lamb, and nothing else that day. So unfortunately it is you we blame. Our whole Easter weekend has been ruined due to feeling unwell. The dining experience was a pleasant one and the food tasted great, although I did comment to my mum at the time it was not the hottest. I felt it was important to share this to make you aware the way of reheating the lamb may not be adequate to kill bacteria. And I hope you look into this.

Had a take booked for 14. Food was ok but have had better. My main concern was the bill. We all paid what we thought was the correct amount plus the £31 service charge. But apparently we were £14 short. We all double checked what we had and we had to our knowledge paid the correct amount

We obviously paid the remaining £14 as we didn't want to cause a scene. No explanation was given to us at all. It did ruin a evening put with friends for my daughter's birthday.

Food was lovely and the service was good but for drink we were not given an option of ice in our drinks or not and when we asked I was given a glass for my coke with one ice cube. Apart from that everything was lovely

Was sat on a table by the kitchen, my head was literally under the plates. No offer of drinks for twenty minutes. A waiter returned a meal to the chef (loosest terms) as the customer had found a hair in her food. His response ‘wheres the f**king hair, tell her to go to McDonald’s if she doesn’t like the food.....’, it went on! Lots of crashing around and more shouting in front of my daughter. We picked our stuff up and left. Only given two stars and not one as we’ve been previously and food was ok, service was still slow.
