Did you know the Government revised its rule concerning planning permission for Loft Conversions in 2008? Laws were passed which could mean that it’s now possible to expand your current living quarters hassle free. Typically, you are exempt from planning permission if the volume of your adaptation doesn’t exceed 40m^3 for terraced houses and 50m^3 for detached and semi-detached houses.
