Went yesterday for sunday lunch, loved it! and at only £10 for a 3 course dinner was great value.

Went today Friday for lunch, it’s was lovely had hot steak sandwich with chips & salad £5.95 kids had chicken nugs & fish fingers & chips massive portion, they had a good try but didn’t finish it, will be back to try the Sunday lunch offer.

Well, I didn’t win the Mother’s Day competition, the food looked so good that we thought we’d give it a try. Beautiful home cooked Sunday roast with all the trimmings and dessert to take home!

We went yesterday for Sunday lunch 3 course for 995 kids 3 course 495 was absolutely gorgeous highly recommended lovely done out too would definitely go again

We went for the 3 course Sunday lunch. Food very nice. Excellent value for money

The food was excellent and very good value for money. The hosts are very welcoming and great music was played whilst we enjoyed our food creating a relaxing atmosphere. Dogs are allowed in the pub which was a big plus point for us. We are looking forward to visiting again and sampling the 3 course Sunday lunch at £9.95

Perfect Sunday lunch, great value for money, and catered for our kids wonderfully! Will definitely be returning xx

Me and a couple of friends ate here last week, it was our first time visiting since it had been taken over and I have to say we weren't disappointed. The food was really good and well priced, we all had clean plates, we will definitely be returning again as I want to try the burgers next. I would highly recommend xx

Just had Sunday dinner with the family they were really short staffed and rushed off their feet but have to say they smashed it!! Really lovely meal & the cheese cake was to die for, really reasonable on price would definitely recommend doggy friendly too bonus �

Great to see this pub restored to its former glory ! Kudos to Dave and his excellent team for their hard work and graft in ensuring a splendid warm atmosphere and the return of all the old regulars.

The cask beers are well cared for and thoughtfully selected by Dave.

The food is really good and I’ve eaten here a few times in the past fortnight ! I can’t fault the quality of the food and it’s presentation ! Especially good value for money is the Sunday roast for less than £10 for 3 courses !

Called in for food, hadn't booked. Very accommodating, food lovely however we waited an HOUR between starter and main courses. (Think we'd been forgotten due to the fact as soon as I mentioned it, food was out immediately). Lovely to see the pub back to being busy. Love it here.

We had the 3 course Sunday lunch , the food was ok but none of us liked the gravy, it tasted strange, and there was what looked like mustard seeds in it ? Should really state what’s in it

Tea last night I know it's early days with food again but not everyone wants Burgers and Pies. MUST say though the pie was reasonable for the price. Menu Needs more variation less burger/pie choice, the new girl behind the bar needs to smile and to pour a proper ale pint., it was flat!. Hadn't the heart to tell her each time Hope the venture succeeds as this pub should not close but unsure if it will. The jury's slightly out at the mo. Good luck.
