🐶 How do you relax on your days off? “im usually out with my dog for a long walk, and I love to do other things too such as baking, making clothes on my sewing machine, up-cycling furniture and for a real treat a hot stone massage or facial.”
... 🍫 If you had to choose between chocolate and crisps what would you pick? “Chocolate for definite!”
❤️What do you love most about your job? “I love being with families, listening to them and learning from them. This helps me to support women in their birth choices, and I get a great sense of achievement from supporting women to achieve the best possible birth experience for them, when welcoming their baby into their world.”

I Qualified 2010 from Bradford University & have been working at CRH since 2013.
I love the satisfaction of giving excellent care to soon to be or new families. If I can make someone smile in labour, I’ve done a good job. X
... I’m a real savoury girl at heart, but you can’t have crisps without full fat coke 😋
To wind down I enjoy WI, knitting, crafts, sunbathing, nights out with good friends, being outdoors, meditation, having a pamper, spending time with the famalam. Self care in our role is incredibly important. X”

👩‍⚕️Tell us about your job role........ “I’m a core midwife on LDRP. Caring for women and their families during labour and shortly after their births.”
👩‍👦‍👦Do you have any children? “I’m a mummy too! My lovely brood are 14, 13 and 3.”
❤️What do you love most about your job? “The thing I love most about my job has to be watching people becoming parents. 😍 Helping to facilitate birth plans and active labour and birth on the labour ward makes this a hugely rewarding job 😊”
