First one for schooling today was Derek, always good for stretching the hip flexors is big Derek!! He was a very good boy! 😍🐴😍

Busy busy weekend here with 4 horses from the yard off the Crow Wood for BD. Remi came home with a red one in the Prelim. Sarah and Derek smashed the Novice for a second and Karen and Elvis brought home another red one in the Elementary! Fergus was a disgrace spooking like a child at the A marker 🙈 safe to say Dressage bores him so he acts up for the sake of it 🙄🙄

New boy Harry arrived tonight and we found he likes to have a wee on 3 legs 🤣🙈🤣🙈

Remi has 3 fantastic paces with a big walk, stunning trot and canter and has so much elevation he makes you feel like you are flying when riding him!
He has been training well all winter and competing at Prelim and is ready to step up to Novice Level with the talent to fly up the levels. He has a trainable attitude and tries hard to please. Basic lateral work shoulder in and leg yield coming on well.
Remi can pop a fence and loves working over poles on the flat and is very careful so these new popular cavaletti clinics would be a doddle! 💪🏻
He is good to box, shoe, bath and clip and doesn’t have any vices. Full pedigree is shown in the photos below.

Pure bred Cleveland Bay Springlea Saracen was castrated this week 🥜🙈 however decided to be somewhat of a bleeder so we took him in to the fantastic team at Aireworth Vets so they could keep a close eye on him. Safe to say he’s still bright and breezy and not missing them just yet! 🤣🤣

Melody is a fantastic little pony who now needs a new home as she’s being wasted at her current home. She has been bred by the current owner for the show ring but due to lack of time she was never broken and competed.
... She has now been broken by a 15yr old and ridden by smaller jockeys including a tiny 4yr old girl. She’s been to different arenas and is ready to do someone a job.
Melody has lovely active paces and although currently in her winter wollies would easily scrub up for the show ring. She is clean limbed, easy to handle, very good to ride, not sharp or spooky but responsive to the aids and looks after her jockey.
She also has a fantastic jump in her so would easily take up jumping / working hunter
She is good to box, shoe and doesn’t have any vices.

What a day!! Busy day at Shaw Farm for the Dressage finale. Charlie Moloney Wood against all odds (with a broken collar bone 🙈!!) managed to steer Super Chippe round 2 Prelims to come 2nd both times to secure her Prelim Champion place in both tests also came away with the Junior Champion too!!
Jim Fox and Linda Fox’s Reminisce came 3rd and won one Prelim test to secure Reserve Champion with me on board!
Not to be outdone young Joey did his first competition in a while with a 65% score in the Intro but HC meant no placing but he was still a star!
