Holiday time at last! We’ll be back on Monday the 15th of October. We have been working some crazy hours over the last few weeks, lots of early mornings and late nights to complete as many projects as possible before we go, so apologies if you’ve tried calling and we’ve missed you. Time for the beach and a beer! 😎🍻

We’ve completed quite a number of tasks for this customer now, here we fitted some funky shelves and bathroom cabinet. Thank you to them for their repeat business. 👍

Removed the old carpet, removed the skirting boards & door frames, fitted some nice laminate flooring and replace the skirtings & frames, looking very sharp! 😎

This is one of the gardens that we tended to regularly throughout the summer. We kept on top of the weeding and grass cutting to help make life a little easier for the customer.

This house was about to go on the market and the outside needed sharpened up, we tidied the garden, put a new corrugated plastic roof on the car port, painted the roof structure and fencing, removed all the red stone chips and laid cream stone chips. It looks much sharper after its refresh. 😎

New gate built & fitted

This was a tough one, around the edge of the floor there was a thick band of black bitumen/tar like paint that was very tough to get off, paint stripper didn’t work, paraffin helped but mainly it was hard graft. The result was great and customer is happy, that’s all that matters. 👌🏼

A customer of ours that is blind who has very kindly given us quite a bit of work over the last few months asked us to come up with a nice little dining table for him with a splash back, quite a few specific requirements such as the edging to stop plates getting knocked off, we ticked all the boxes. He is delighted and so are we. 👍

Customer in a rental property wanted a wooden floor for their dining area without damaging/changing the current flooring in the living room. We found a solution and they love it, looks great! 😎

Customer required a second outdoor tap fitted in their garage, not a problem! 👍

We’ve made a couple of computer desks recently, both were made from solid beech and to each customers exact requirements.

We hung a number of coat hooks etc for this customer but loved the shelves they wanted put up for their workshop.

We carried out several tasks for this customer but this was a lovely idea, they used a great piece of timber as their guest book and we mounted this rather heavy item to the wall, looks awesome!

A bathroom we recently completed, lots of prep work, fresh paint on walls & wood work, natural finish wooden ceiling painted white, new shower screen and new bath seal. Looking sharp!

I would highly recommend Borders handyman service. Pete is very professional, punctual and consincous.... he has done a few things in our home and everything is done to a very high standard.

Great service, I was needing wallpaper stripped from 3 bedrooms, staircase and hallway. Pete and his team managed to do it in a day and a half and it really wasn’t an easy task. They have done a good job and I’m really pleased that they tidied up too. Very professional service, highly recommend them.
