The Audience, gather. Anticipating nips the air. We begin. The room is still. Our voices rise over the traffic's hum and roar. Our words, the room's attention, hold it's racket at the threshold of the open door.
Thank you so much everyone for coming to hear us and sharing our Borrowed Lounge. We hope you were comfortable. Sorry there was no tea, it just wasn't practice in that tiny space.

Monday morning , Meeting Eileen. Busy 3 days ahead preparing for Thursday. Where did those 3 days go? We are all prepared for you at The Art Cafe. Tomorrow afternoon. I've still got to make the cakes though.

After our successful Launch of The Borrowed Lounge Poets, we are taking the plunge and borrowing the lounge at The Art Cafe on Hangingroyd Road Hebden Bridge for a second event on the 2nd of August at 2pm. A range of non alcoholic hot and cold drinks available.
Arrive for 2pm start. Finishes at 4pm
