Went here yesterday for their 2 for £8.99 meals as my husband was off work so perfect time to try. We both had a starter, a main and a dessert.... It was absolutely beautiful. I could not fault it at all. I work in the catering industry myself and I'm really fussy where I eat and always checking places out, it was very clean.. Friendly staff, brilliant price. Food was beautiful. We will be back. Thank you

Well its value for money. The staff are all super friendly and the food is good. Decent size portions. Enough room not to feel over crowded and caters for all. Including kids. Me and my husband have become regulars and will continue to go.

We went today for my little brothers birthday and the staff were amazing. One in particular was absolutely amazing (I didn’t catch his name but he had a wrist support on?) as I asked if they could present a cake I had made for my brother and nothing was too much trouble. Food amazing too would highly recommend!

User

We came for breakfast and absolute bargain and very nice food and great service from the staff especially from Christopher who seated us thank you!! We will certainly coming back.

Came this afternoon for Mothers Day with family. 3 of the group had the 2 course carvery. I have got to say the meat was beautiful,it was succulent and generous in portion. The vegetables were nicely cooked and fresh. It makes a change to have a carvery where the vegetables havent dried up under the heat, like other food chain carveries.

User

Always love it here. Especially because all 5 of us find at least something we like - unusual for us as we’ve a couple of fuss pots!!

User

My 1st time visiting the Rhubarb Triangle and the food was lovely and loved that I could get my favourite drink Pepsi Max in Lime flavour.

User

Me and my partner love going for the the offer meals always enjoyed what we have eaten but have to say always a queue at the bar as usually only one bar staff on and would like to have a place designated for drinking only sometimes this is possible sometimes not

User

Will never go here again, 1st of all ordered our food costing £100.00 for 4 of us to then be told there was a 40 minute wait !! Would of been nice to be told before ordering then we could’ve decided if we wanted to wait or not, 3 set meals were not too bad but the carvery was absolute rubbish tough meat, lumpy mash & stuffing cubes were as hard as house bricks !! After the 40 minute wait we then had another 40 minute wait for our sweets, all cold sweets so don’t understand why we had to wait so long. Not happy at all 😡

I went yesterday with my husband he got a mixed grill everything was nice apart from the steak he said it was really tuff and not very nice. When the waitress came and asked if all was ok I told her about the steak she apologised and then went. We waited a while to see if the manager would come speak to us but he never came so in the end we left x

User

Called in Sunday for breakfast . Now buffet , used to be freshly cooked to order . Very limited choice had to wait for food to come out , not good , loved coming here in the past for breakfast , not anymore won't be back.

User

Wrote a smashing review as always liked the service and food...But OMG had a Christmas Party with friends and from start to finish the service was appalling, served non alcoholic drinks+charged for alcohol based drinks, had the Xmas meal option which was horrendous+had better tasting microwave meals, service was rude+disgusting+cutlery was just thrown on the table!!what shud have been a friendly fun evening was 3+1/2 hours of disaster after disaster...won't be setting foot in there again....

We had not been here for a long time, And R ember the food used to be quite good so decided to call in after work on Sunday evening. The staff were all lovely, really chatty and engaging. Unfortunately the starters took ages, and we're very disappointing. The chicken liver pate tasted of nothing, and was more like a mousse than a pate. We waited about an hour for the main courses. My chicken was tiny and very dry. My partners burger was burnt. Even with a "buy one get one free" on main meals, this was not good value. The manager did come and talk to us, he was a really nice fella, we left with a voucher for £20 off our next food bill. I hope that the food is more enjoyable next time. Can't fault the staff who we met, they just need to improve on the food - a lot!

User

We came tonight for tea and I won't be coming again! The chicken was hard like it had been left hours the sausage was the same the batter was so tuff and me and my little girl havnt felt so good the past hour!

User

Visited today with my partner and his parents and the food was terrible we had a cavery and the meat was disgusting we told a member of staff who spoke to the chef and was advised that we should have been told the meat was not up to standard so why serve it throughly disappointed we spent money on food we didn't enjoy don't think I will ever return

User

Very disappointed, arrived tonight to take advantage of the meal deal that finishes at 6pm. Stood waiting at the bar to order and the bar tender completely ignores us, eventually coming to serve us and telling us "you can't have that now, it's 6.03pm" Complete lack of customer service 😕

User

Sorry really not a fan of this pub, or possibly even the chain. The quality of the food just does not compare to similar chain pubs such as Wetherspoons or Marston at all. The poor quality rump steak was not cooked to medium rare as they'd offered but well done, the 'whopper' fish on the other main courses was not the size received from other restaurants. There's nothing to entertain children, ok there's a reasonably priced children's menu but for a family friendly pub that has no children's play facilities alternatives that other restaurants provide as standard simply are not provided by brewers fayre. The company really needs to improve its offering if its to compete with the competitors that operate in the same market and charge similar prices. We will not be dining out with Brewers Fayre again and will instead choose its competitors that are kitted out better for families and serve better food too.

User

So came in and got told to go get a drink at the bar as there was a wait for tables but then 10 minutes later got shown to the other side of the pub where there were loads of tables free and just got told to pick whichever one we wanted and got told about the buffet on our way in and being taken over to the table then to be told at the bar when going to pay for the buffet that they were not doing the buffet at 7 when it closes at 8 so then we just finished our drinks we had paid for and left, would've been nice to be informed about the buffet not being on anymore on the way in since I had made my children wait for their tea until their dad had got home from work especially for the buffet

User

Haven't been for while but won't be going again. The staff are lovely but unfortunately the food is tasteless and poor. The chicken was very slimey and chips were dry. Although the waitress did check the chicken it just didn't taste nice at all. Kids sausages were burnt and not very nice either. Definitely going to avoid again as really gone down hill!
