Brewers Fayre Water Mill

Went to The Watermill for something to eat today having never been before and OMG definitely going again. The staff are friendly, the food is amazing and the drinks are very cheap. James the chef is very polite

Went for breakfast yesterday morning , lovely clean and plenty of space , helpful staff and the food was yummy , will definitely go again �

We came for breakfast yesterday had breakfast with Santa the kids absolutely loved it and the staff were amazing well done 😄

Was here for the first time with my family. Had the 2 meals for £7-99 and a childs meal. Excellent service and and plenty to eat also the drinks where good. Will recommend the Brewers Fayre Water Mill to my friends.

The people were very helpful and polite and everything else was awesome

Just got back from a Birthday meal with my family . My son wanted a mixed Grill but they were unable to do a childs size mixed grill for us he was becoming restless but one of the staff members named Lauren was fantastic she sorted the whole thing for us. She went above and beyond with her customer service ,she was fantastic .We could not thank her enough. She derserves to be employer of the month in our eyes. she was a star.

We went with our 3 children and our inlaws.

Only had a starter (the combination platter)

As a snack.

Food satsifactory and worth the money.

Excellent service at the bar didn't have 2 wait

Around long in order 2 get served.

Definitely worth a return visit.

Lovely walk in the snow by the canal and into The Water Mill for a brew - stayed for lunch, great value and very pleasant atmosphere. Thankyou.

The food was ok ish ?? apart from the chips were dry and not very nice at all , the onions rings we ordered as an extra side , They were an imposter disguised as an onion ring !!! They hadn't seen any real onion just onion flavoured batter it seemed !! We pulled a few apart to check if there was any onion in any but no none was found ?? Needless to say they didn't get eaten so a complete waste of money !! Such a shame it has put us off slightly as to wether we would return ?? We left feeling disappointed.

The food was nice, everything easy access, basically all you want and more. The issue for me was the member of staff who seated us, she seemed very Moody, like we we're putting her out. Not 5 mins after seating us, the same person came to ask what we would like for the main breakfast, at this point I was still grabbing toast and juice, so my husband said to her, can we have 5/10 minutes. The women rolled her eyes and walked off without a word. When the said women came back for our order, we told her what we would like, when my food arrived, it was missing a fried egg and mushrooms. Service here is usually really good, but I left feeling disappointed at the womens attitude. Good customer service starts with the first person you see, and she lacked that for me.

It's normally nice for a quick meal. Cheap and decent portion sizes. Disappointed with the lamb shank. £12.00 for a spoonful of mash and the lamb was tiny and 8 green beans is hardly a meal.

Had meal for 2 £8.99

With starters chicken goujons and loaded potatoes ( they were luvly )

Then I had scampi chips and peas s very small portion left the chips would have

Preferred the loaded pots with my meal

They both came pretty quick but had to wait ages for dessert

Ok for the money nice place and will go again

Had a meal alone on Sunday evening. Food was good and came in good time . Table cleared and dessert offered. Again came in good time. Tables a bit sticky but they always will be if they spray that awful stuff on them.

£46 for a Xmas lunch and the sprouts were undercooked the beef like leather spuds ok , peas undercooked in fact the only truly thing worth praising was the service and friendly waiters waitress oh and the chocolate millionaire ice cream pudding

Starter was disgusting...had cheese and onion tart...tasted of cardboard....main had beef and ale pie....god it was vile....came in oval plate with no pie base or lid!!!! So why was it called a pie? Had a cheese pastry Sat in the middle which this did taste ok but the meat...Jesus it was a strange texture and spongy.it was vile....pile of greens at the side which were hard...complained to manager who said I was not the 1st customer to complain about this dish!!! So why keep it on? He gave me a free desert which actually was nice.....wont be going again!!!!

Poor customer service with argumentative manager who refused to accept responsibility or make adjustments when their equipment is not working! No proper signs or staff to communicate that their equipment is faulty! I do not expect to pay for a meal in a restaurant and when I question standards...for the female manager to become argumentative and aggressive with me in front of my 2 children and other customers!
