We have an amazing late date and mid-week wedding offer......check it out!!

User

Stayed here when we were on a coach trip back in November 2015. It's so beautiful and cosy inside. Breakfast and meal times were so enjoyable because of the delicious food. Me and my Mum had our own patio in our room! It was very nice to step out and get some fresh air whenever we wanted. Amazing hotel.

User

Stayed here recently when it snowed and my flight was delayed. Staff couldn't do enough to ensure I was comfortable. Special mention for the breakfast too had the eggs they were cracking!

User

Stayed at this hotel a few times now . Excellent service and facilities. Booked our rooms through a girl called Leanne , she was polite and helpful and made it all easy to arrange .

User

Great place to stay, very clean, pool and jacuzzi clean and fun, sauna and everything else included, food is gorgeous and very friendly staff!

User

Excellent leisure facilities excellent staff and excellent afternoon tea we will definately be going back

User

Stayed here when doing the Emmerdale tour!! Clean rooms, food was more comfort food than cordon bleu but after a long day out it went down a treat!! Very busy but the staff were brilliant and coped well!! Pool and sauna were a bonus I wasn’t expecting, enjoyed a wee 6.30am swim before breakfast!

User

Hotel is fine, meal good , the deal we got was brill, wish I could say the same thing about one of the bar staff rude and arrogant beside that good night

User

We arrived about 6pm lovely girl trying to do a job with failing system!! Checked in off to bar ordered sandwiches ok sort of, daughter got smash and sausages only reason didn’t complain was because we heard chef had walked!! Poor lad newly trained only one at bar with people complaining about no food he kept smiling what the hell Britannia

User

The afternoon tea was lovely with a good selection of sandwiches. However the "spa" I use the word loosely was poor. It is in desperate need of updating.

User

Rooms very comfortable staff very friendly but the bar closes at 11 pm .... I’m on holiday I want to chillax feel like I’m being sent to bed like a naughty child

User

Reception staff excellent. Room clean. Food lets this hotel down every time. Stampede at dinner resulting in long queues and no support to the chef who was both serving and replenishing the counter.

Breakfast, although fresh took ages to restock. Ordered poached eggs 1st morning which took 15 minutes. So ordered on arrival 2nd morning. Then waited 10 mins in queue for baked beans. Sat waiting for eggs! After 30 minutes told would be another 20 minutes. So cold beans on toast for breakfast. Not a good end to the weekend.

User

I went mainly for leisure facilities. No steam room as advertised tiny gym no rowing machine very few weight machines no option of changing cubicle. Enjoyed pool and jacuzzi. It was nice to have a double bed when i booked single room. Nice meals but tea and coffee were always cold

User

Fantastic hotel, very clean and spacious with rooms to match however that's were the good points end, the three course meal was very disappointing, when we arrived after a long day of travelling, bar food coming out looked much better compared to the offerings we had, the food was very dry, hard and over cooked, and you could have lost a tooth trying to bite into the roast potatoes. I was there as part of a coach trip and i never heard any say they enjoyed their dinner we received at your hotel. as part of a holiday you look forward to a good meal and I'm sorry to say but we've eaten much better previous accommodation.

I know your offering value for money and granted the room was lovely but come on I'd rather pay £10 less and order bar food im just glad my food was included or i would have demanded a refund as 4 of us sitting at the table had to leave full meals as it was uneadable to top it all off the crockery wasn't even clean and for the plates that had been washed you had to dry them before u could use them. After saying all that when I got up for breakfast the next morning the food was delicious although I'm not sure you would want chips at 7am (they would have been better to go with the dinner the night previously to go with fish and lasagne other than boiled or roast potatoes) My only complaint again was the dirty crockery

Just been honest and hopefully you'll take note. Not moaning but the posh restaurant you direct us to is far from posh a bit more like queing up for School dinners that you have to help yourself to

We went for an afternoon tea with leisure facilities. On arrival the lady with dark black hair I can only describe as rude. We had a lovely time in the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. We then went for our afternoon tea. There was nobody in the restaurant but they sat us in a wobble table next to the walk way and reception. The food came it was ok but no jam or cream for the scones. I asked to be told the hotel had run out of cream!! Just jam and butter it was. They definitely need some customer service training since they people on the bar wasn’t much better than the lady on reception. I did note, however, the two young ladies on reception seemed to have manner and had a genuine interest in the people arriving to check in. I wouldn’t go again there’s plenty of hotel to choose from within the area!

User

The bath towels were too small and the food that was on offer was poor

User

Stayed here 1 night, checking in was all ok. Went to bar, very overpriced, house wine tasted horrendous. Food was even worst. The beds are rock hard. Woke up with horrible back ache. The bathroom was tiny. Couldn’t turn round in it. The towel wouldn’t fit around a child never mind a grown man. Not a very nice stay at all and won’t be visiting again

User

I stayed here for two nights. Upon arrival I drove past the hotel twice due to the lights not working so the hotel was in compete darkness outside. When I did check in my room had been cancelled reason unknown. Once arriving in my room I noticed damage storage area and drawers. The fridge had not been cleaned ever and stank! There was mould around the bathroom suits.

I tried to order room service but didn't have a telephone directory in the room. Had to order at meson reception. There was a large bus group staying and not enough bar staff. Buffet Breakfast on the first morning was ok. But was cold the second morning. Dinner the second night again ok, Our table wasn't ready and had to wait another half hour and there was no offer of free beverage. Happy hour could be highlighted a bit more. I certainly won't be back anytime time soon.

User

Was there for my step sons wedding the service was awfull when we arrived we got a drink from the bar wgere they had no ice when i had a drink there was something in the glass which was like skin or peal of some sort barmaid didnt seam that bothered to food was terrible the so called buffet was the worst iv ever seen the sandwiches were hard on the edges and starting to curl and a bowle of curry sauce which had no place on the table felt really sorry for my step son and his new wife the so called wedding package was terrible and i think you should hand back the hard earned money that they paid you . I will be telling everyone i know and on social media what a total shambles your wedding package is and not to touch you with a barge pole waited 15 minutes for a table to be cleared for breakfast then there was only one cup for 4 if us to have coffee this place should be reported to tradeing standerds which will be our next move .

User

Asked for a quiet room, no chance! Idiots next door for the second night running shouting at the top of their voices! Dirty bathroom, poor facilities, dirty bedroom. Pool adequate but not great. Staff on reception poorly trained and with customer service skills of a rat! Disgusting place, do not visit!

Trying to ring reception and no answer! It is 3.30 am and we have just been woken by the idiots next door shouting in the corridor and banging doors and now banging on the walls and shouting in their room! The Facebook page says they are open 24/7
