First visit to The British Oak on Saturday with my sons band O.C.D. Been to hundreds of gigs over the last 5 years but this has to be one of the very best venues. Lovely staff, lovely landlady and fabulous crowd. Had a brilliant night ����

Fantastic, warm welcome, dog friendly, real ale, bar food is spot on, love the big boy platter idea! Dogs were given water and treats by bar staff and land lady. Can't fault it! Thanks! We'll be back!

Fantastic pub great hosts in Andy and Tracey who make you very welcome and boy do they love their music!

But....cold you need to put heating on through the day it was very cold people sat with coats on brrrr

Amazing pub. Thoroughly welcoming to all. The gaffers and staff are top class. Live music on every week, pool table, reasonable prices. A proper pub! :)

Absolutely brilliant pub with a great atmosphere the landlady and landlord are absolutely fab and treat you like family. Not like a lot of pubs these days where they only care about the custom and money these 2 actually come round and talk to you to make sure everything's okay and to have a little natter. Defo the best pub around :)xx
