Friendly staff comfy bed bit dated but I'm not sleeping in wardrobe bit noisy early hrs but what do you expect in student accomadation area... £4 each for cooked brekky which was delicious cereal toast etc free with that £1.50 each if no cooked....close to amenities WILL DEFO BE BACK
Freindly staff..room ok for the price nothing fancy..could have benefited from a mirror above sink and a chair otherwise room small but comfortable..4 pound breakfast seems good value..
A huge thankyou to the staff for going above and beyond!!! Very helpful, affordable bar and polite. Rooms were cosy and a large breakfast selection. I cannot thank them enough for also sending back a forgotten item after my stay. Would 100% use again!
1st time ever in Leeds as was there for work. Great staff. Made me feel very welcome.. breakfast good!! Very reasable prices. Would defiantly stay there again.
fantastic! step back in time! lovely staff,
room was clean and lovely! a great breakfast.
you really must do a murder mystery event here
full of character! loved it!
Was OK narrow stairs on top floor and a very stiff door lol but the staff were brilliant, I liked the lamps by the beds and a kettle in room which was good
It's in a good location and near buses and for only £25 I'm pretty happy with it and was with @[657126275:Kerry Beard] and another lass and it was good, bars of soap and coffee, sugar and milk and a hair dryer and somewhere to put stuff it was a small room but it was fine for one night and was right next to the shared bathroom although it could have benefited from a sink because I don't like to leave toilets without washing my hands even though it's in bedroom but a sink would have been better in the toilet too x. Other than that I didn't have a problem staying here
Our second time saying at Boundary Hotel. Our room in the basement was clean, comfy and perfect to an sleep after a night out. Lovely breakfast and staff were really pleasant and helpful. Would definately recommend and will definately stay again.
In basement room and had a really good night's sleep. Everything fine for us.
I think this hotel was lovely, the bed was so comfy and I did not want to get out of it also the room was lovely and warm, nice friendly staff too! Will defo stay again if I am in Leeds!!
Good location and good staff. Had a twin room, which was spacious enough, but felt the single beds could have been a bit bigger. Room and bed were clean and towels replaced daily. Bar was ok and a good pool table. Continental breakfast was free, but upgrade to a cooked breakfast for only £4 was ideal. Place could do with a lick of paint on some of the stairs, however very nice Lounge room for guests was very comfy and tidy. Finally, wifi for us on the top floor was excellent. All in all, would have no qualms stopping here again as an excellent choice for the budget traveller, like me.
Can't argue with the price, decent rooms and nice staff
Initial impressions are the staircase down to our room needs a fucking Sherpa! The windows are a fire escape, so you can't get fresh air. The toilet door doesn't lock - better start whistling !
We can see Carnegie stadium and Headingly cricket ground from the hotel. So couldn't get any closer to the action.
Wonder if breakfast will be any good?
You get for what you pay. Not for posh people!
Would not go back to this hotel or recommend it to anyone it desperately desperately needs refurbishment from top to bottom and more than just a lick of paint as it appeared dirty no mirror above small sink in bedroom, you had to push the bedroom door before you could turn the key, no bed side lamp lamp there but no socket to plug it into so had to walk across dark room after turning the main room light out (all of two steps) as the room was so smal, the shared bathroom (witch I hate) had a bit of wood nailed on to the bottom of the door were someone had kicked a whole in it (that's what it looked like) cups in bedroom were dirty, room to small for a wordrobe so just had a coat stand to hang clothes on. I could go on but I won't I am a frequent traveller and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The only good thing about it is the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was ideally placed for what I required which was to go to headingley cricket ground,£4 for a large English breakfast was value for money, staff were helpful.
Wet walls, broken T.V. wall attachment, lamp switch broken, kettle switching on by itself, sticky carpets and a dusty, dirty dining area. Cheap but not cheerful, I couldn't leave quick enough.
The room we had was quite dirty, dusty doors, a lot of someone's hair on the bathroom floor, the guest soap was opened and used!! Also we were only given a small amount of milk & sugar for tea (quite annoying) S from Watford
Been to this hotel before and had a great time so came again however I will never stay here again. We we put downstairs in a room for three of us where the fire exit door is next to the most inconsiderate people ever. They were still shouting and being idiots at 530am and are still showing no signs of calming down and going to bed. For some reason the hotel manager has just ignored this and allowed it to go on! Surely he should at some point intervene and tell them to think of the other quests but no. As a result I have now been sat in bed since 230am and still had no sleep.
The room is hot and sweaty, there is no air conditioning. The beds are sqeeky and very uncomfortable.
I am truly devastated as this was the first and only night out in ages and I have had the worst night sleep (none) I have had since I had my baby. Such as shame as I would have come back here but not again!!
Arrived got key told go up the stairs and up again!! Narrow stairs god help if there's a fire!!
Room was three single beds and room was smelly!
Was told breakfast included which was continental breakfast (Mmmm cheese and ham and croissants looking forward to that as That's continental Yeah?) or pay £4 for full English. Bed was uncomfortable and bathroom was shower and toilet shared!!! My worse fear!!
Anyway we had paid so thought get on with it!!
Went for breakfast and it was cereal and toast with jams and maralade. Mmm perhaps the builders had eaten all the "Continental Breakfast" The chef came out asked if we wanted anything cooked we declined. Toast popped into toaster while the chef cleared up the other table seemed a bit strange the chef doing that!!
We are our toast drank the coffee and checked out!!
Definitely wouldn't stay there again Sorry!!!
