Cadets from our unit were honoured to take part in the Remembrance Day parades at Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd this morning. The first time that Police Cadets have taken part in remembering those who are no longer with us.SO Andrew Taylor who led the cadets during the parade was incredibly proud of those who took part!
As part of there #ThereButNotThere campaign our cadets also set up several 'Tommy' silhouettes. These were kindly donated to the unit and represent those who could not be present having made the ultimate sacrifice.
Its one week until to our official launch night for Cohort 2!
We're expecting 52 police cadets along with 6 senior cadets supported by a team of Volunteer Special Constables and others. This evening the parents of our new cadets attended to see what we will be getting up to and we hope they went away happy and impressed!
