Still a hidden gem

We've just returned from a weeks holiday in one of your caravans, we had a wonderful time on the site, very central and plenty of facilities. Our children loved the swimming pool and the park. Have lovely memories of a holiday there when I was a child and wanted to pass this on to my own children, I wasn't disappointed, still a fantastic place almost 25 years on. Thank you

We have as family and a group of loving friends been going to Calloose for over 25 years. We have just had another great fortnight with the same gang. The owner's family and staff always give us a friendly warm welcome. Well done to you all. We have already booked for next year.

Stayed for 9 days had a great time, good selection of drinks in the newly refurbished bar,most importantly the kids loved it,I would defiantly go back

Probably the best site I have stayed at. Friendly staff and very helpful. Plenty to do for all the family and the pub food is second to none. Facilities well maintained, very clean. Honestly can't fault any part of it and will be returning next year,hopefully a longer stay. How can calloose improve? Would be great if next year calloose did breakfasts.

Loving my stay at calloose. Really heart warming to see the efforts of the new owners in upgrading the campsite and making really exciting improvements. The new bar is looking really cool and ultra modern. Can't wait to have a drink in there on Friday. There are work men everywhere getting things ready for everyone to enjoy their holidays in the next few months.

Just returned from a 5 night stay in our small camper. Great site, we chose this site simply for the pool for our 3 1/2 year old who loves to swim and he was not disappointed, one of the warmest outdoor pools we have ever been in. Pitches are of a good size, clubhouse opens on a Friday and Saturday evening during quiet season and the manager couldn't be more helpful if he tried. Toilet and shower blocks are modern and clean and there's a great little park for the kids to play in. Having been home a few hours we are already planning our next stay

Just back from a lovely week at calloose, stayed in a caravan which was lovely my daughter loved watching the cows in the field.

What I liked most about the park was that it wasn't overcrowded and no rowdy drunks. Was perfect just to relax.

The only think I would stay is beware of children on bikes,the first day I had a child ride her bike straight into me....

Will defiantly be returning.

A good family restaurant to try is country skittles which isn't to far.

Had the privilege of a sneak preview of all of the development work going ahead during an overnight stay on 4th April. It looks amazing; the new bar area is modern and beautifully lit, the coffee shop and adjoining new terrace is a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and snack with views over the pool, a new modern shop and reception area is very welcoming and the refurbished toilet/shower block looks amazing.

The new multi sports area is great for the children.

The gardener is making great progress on the landscaping and the grounds.

The works are going to turn the site from great to magnificent.

Looking forward to my next visit later in the year.

stayed in one of the new lodges very luxurious home from home.

a lot of alterations to the site happening and all for the better.

fab new bar /restaurant.

new coffee shop.

new sun deck area over lookin g the wonderful pool.

new multi sports court.

new shower/toilet block.

new shop with all things needed from kites to beans.

must say warren and Jo and jon are doing a grand job along with Tom max and Chris the dedicated garden we.

Great park, kids and adults had a fantastic time. Facilities spot on, clean well maintained. Would highly recommend this camp site, sits in a great location for both north and south coast exploring Ōø║’ĖÅŌØż’ĖÅ

Calloose is a family run site. The site boasts a heated out door pool, tennis court, small mini golf course, small shop and a bar/restaurant. ALL staff are friendly and extremely helpful, they always go the extra mile, and for this reason people return year after year!

Absolutely love it here, by far one of my favourites! Friendly, family run park, big enough to keep the kids occupied but not too big you lose them. Nice pool, great park, tennis courts a bonus!! Great site will 100% be back!

What a beautiful park to camp on. There was one big problem every day even on bank holiday Monday the hedge was either being cut or the grass was being mowed. I understand this needs doing but not every day. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and I certainly didn't enjoy the noise.

We had a one nights stay here with friends, the park was very tidy and clean with a good amount of toilets and showers. The children really enjoyed the adventure playground. We will definitely be returning, thankyou

This was my first time camping in a tent, the campsite was lovely very quiet and everyone from staff to other campers were very friendly, the only snag I have is that we were pitched on a slight hill so when it rained, which it did a few times the rain ran towards our tent and soaked everything, also the wifi was not strong enough to go round the whole park, even tho I was told there were routers all round the park. Will be visiting again as it was close to all the lovely beaches and towns in Cornwall.

Lovely site, we came just as the kids had gone back to school after 6wk holidays, staff are lovely and friendly very helpful, downside that it says bar and food available, not after the 6 was holidays it isn't, bar open 1 night so far and we've been here 3 nights :(
