Father's Day weekend....the Saturday family service is on at 5.30pm in church. Then on Sunday we have a traditional communion at 9am, and a lively all age communion at 10.45 with worship led by Fiona, the school orchestra, and members of our band. See you there? It's going to be great!
Creative Stories is on today, 9.15 to 10.30am in church.
This weekend....we're celebrating Pentecost, the birthday of the church! The Saturday communion service is on at 5.30pm, and on Sunday we have a traditional communion at 9am, and a lively family service at 10.45, with Canon Andrew Tawn coming to preach. There is no evening youth service in June, but we hope to have one in July.
Coffee Shop is on in the morning, 9am to 12 noon in church, with a lovely range of home-made cake, toasted tea-cakes, and coffee! (And tea).
Creative Stories tomorrow, 9.15am to 10.30am in church. We've had the stone floor re-done at the back of church, so the tables will be in different places, but you're still all very welcome! A friendly group for children aged 3-5 and their parent/carer, with crafts related to the Gingerbread Man this week!
Another Vlog from the diocese of Leeds cricket team....
This weekend, we have Messy Church on Saturday at 3pm with a Pentecost theme, and on Sunday, a BCP communion service at 8.30am for those who prefer a quieter said service, and our main Family Communion service at 10.45am. Hope to see you there!
Sorry, no Coffee Shop tomorrow because it's half term, but we'll be back next week, Friday mornings from 9am to 12 noon!
Do you love our beautiful churchyard? Would you like to join our team of dedicated volunteers to keep it looking well-cared for? We are looking for help with grass cutting and strimming. If you are able to help on a regular basis, please come and see us on a Friday morning, or contact Revd Sue on sue@calverleyparish.church We'd love to hear from you!
Lots to choose from on the Thy Kingdom Come app.
Take a look at the Thy Kingdom Come site, you'll find some helpful prayer resources and a free app.
Coming up this weekend......
Phil may be on sabbatical, but he's still managed to make time for some cricket....!
This weekend there is no Saturday service because of half term, but we'd love to see you on Sunday (26th May) when we have a traditional communion service at 9am, and a family service at 10.45am.
All our usual mid-week activities will be taking a break next week for half term, but we do have Messy Church on Saturday 1st June at 3pm, with a theme of Pentecost.
Coffee Shop is on tomorrow, but we'll need to close early at 11am so that we can get the church ready for a big funeral in the afternoon. Next week we'll take a break for half-term, so come and enjoy a good coffee and a toasted teacake while you can!
Creative Stories is on tomorrow, 9.15am to 10.30am in church, for children aged 3-5 and their parent/carer. We won't be meeting next week because of half term, but will be back on Thursday 6th June.
