Can you spare a few hours this September to help raise funds and awareness for Candlelighters? We need volunteers to help at our CCAM street collections in Leeds. We have been overwhelmed by your response to our request for toiletries thank you to everyone who has sent them. This delivery arrived this week with flowers and chocolates too, how lovely!
#FactFriday Do you know that we hold family fun days in Hull? We host these every 3 months and invite all families in Hull affected by childhood cancer to come and enjoy arts and crafts, bouncy castle fun and refreshments. Our next family fun day is Saturday 25th August at North Bransholme Community Centre, 12pm-2pm. Please contact The Square for more info.
Candlelighters would like to thank York Maze. They generously gave us tickets for our sibling trip last Saturday 11th August and we all had a fantastic day! As a charity we organise days out for siblings of children affected by childhood cancer to give them time to have fun, share experiences and get support at what can be a very confusing time for them. We would not have been able to take all 37 of the children with the cost of transport, lunch, treats and the admission tickets if it had not been for their kindness. Thank you so much!

Candlelighters are holding our annual general meeting on Wednesday the 12th of September 2018 at Candlelighters Trust (8 Woodhouse Square, Leeds, LS3 1AD) and would love to see you there.
