Did you know we have a newly refurbished function room? It holds up to 90 people although totally suitable for smaller numbers too. It can be set out in different ways and has its own bar and balcony exclusive to your special occasion. There are a number of catering options depending on your requirements or you can even do your own food if you would prefer. Suitable for Xmas do’s, teachers end of term get together, Birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, baby showers and more. You can also decorate and organise entertainment (dj, singer etc) if you wish. It’s just £50 if we provide the food or £100 if you do your own. Went today with the kids for Mother's Day, the food is delicious and the staff are lovely and very helpful as always. It's nice when restaurants can keep their normal menu on special occasions and made extra effort with Mother's Day balloons and decoration. A* as always Capris �

We eat at the capri from time to time and have never had a problem. Excellent food, great value and very friendly staff.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Capri for a lovely 21st party! Everyone has really enjoyed it and the food was excellent!

Had a medical operation this week, went for a meal with the family then the taxi let us down ( by admission it was Saturday night and we needed a minibus - our fault that we didn't pre-book).

Food superb as ever, consistent, prompt, no delays for drinks etc, just could not complain. Boss man heard of the problem, and then drove us home.

How much better could it get?

Having had a gorgeous meal in a couple of months ago, I decided to try take-out for a surprise anniversary meal. I called as I was leaving work & picked it up as I passed. All I can say is WOW !!!!! The portion sizes are huge, so hubby has a couple of nice lunches next week. The halloumi was just right & the chicken pancakes looked yummy ( he wouldn't let me try as they were so nice). I've a feeling this is going to be a regular thing ��������

We were very disappointed with the service and one member of staff was very rude to us. We have been to the Capri quite a few times over the years, so when we asked our 11 year old daughter where she would like to go to celebrate her birthday, she chose the Capri. I was working a late shift at the hospital so we arrived at 9 o clock last night (Saturday) My husband had rang up earlier to book but was told he didn't need to and there would be a table for us. We arrived and were told to sit at the bar while they got a table ready, we were not happy about this as we had 3 children with us, we ordered some coke for me and the kids which we had to send back because it was watered down. The food we ordered was very nice. When the desserts arrived a very rude waitress brought over my daughters dessert(profiteroles) my daughter(birthday girl) was tucking in and really enjoying them, the same rude waitress then brought over two drinks, I explained that we had not ordered them, she was very cross and realised that the drinks were for the next table, she then gestured to the profiteroles and snapped 'those are not yours'. My husband stated that we had ordered profiteroles and she had brought them to our table. My daughter looked sad and stopped eating. We assured her that it was her dessert and not to worry. Neither the waitress or anyone else apologised. We did not want to complain or make a scene in front of our children so paid the bill and left. We were very disappointed so wanted to write this review, so that staff are aware and can improve their service.

Simply unable to deal with very basic takeaway orders.



They have told me tonight that they are too busy to cope so I would advise looking elsewhere if you would like to receive the food you actually ordered.



Also, look out for the discrepancy in the delivery price when using the app (£1) versus £1.50 when placing a phone order.....!



Apparently a disgruntled ex-employee has hacked the app and they’re trying to sort it.

Placed a home dining order tonight at 7pm and asked for delivery around 8.30pm. At 8.55pm I phone to ask if our order had been dispatched only to be told they had been busy and had completely forgotten about it. Then said theyd cook it and get it out to us in 25 minutes at which point I cancelled my order. Very dissapoin ted with the customer service (or rather lack of) and can safely say I wont be ordering again.

Absolutely ridiculous and even worse customer service. Ordered around a month ago a vegetarian lasagne to collect. Got the lasagne home it looked like meat, so I called and was assured it wasn't meat so I started eating it. Well it was meat and as I havnt eaten meat in 18 years it made me violently sick. When I contacted them to tell them I was assured the staff would be re trained and it wouldn't happen again. So a week later I ordered again. Got my take away and drove all the way home. Once again they had sent a meat dish. I called to complain and was told I had to go back and collect another and that they would not deliver. After a long argument and them telling me it was because they had a new member of staff on that night they agreed to deliver. I appreciate mistakes do happen so as they delivered another I was happy enough. However, tonight is the third time they've given me the wrong dish even though I asked repeatedly for a vegetarian lasagne!!!!

When I called and said fair enough ANOTHER mistake please could you deliver another, their response was no! Too busy taking more orders when they couldn't even get the ones they had taken right! Further more they said I had to wait for a refund! Won't be returning that's for sure!

One of the better restaurants in the area, nor 3 bad, food and staff where great, will have to re-book for a Friday or Saturday to see if the atmosphere is different.

We were very disappointed with the service and one member of staff was very rude to us. We have been to the Capri quite a few times over the years, so when we asked our 11 year old daughter where she would like to go to celebrate her birthday, she chose the Capri. I was working a late shift at the hospital so we arrived at 9 o clock last night (Saturday) My husband had rang up earlier to book but was told he didn't need to and there would be a table for us. We arrived and were told to sit at the bar while they got a table ready, we were not happy about this as we had 3 children with us, we ordered some coke for me and the kids which we had to send back because it was watered down. The food we ordered was very nice. When the desserts arrived a very rude waitress brought over my daughters dessert(profiteroles) my daughter(birthday girl) was tucking in and really enjoying them, the same rude waitress then brought over two drinks, I explained that we had not ordered them, she was very cross and realised that the drinks were for the next table, she then gestured to the profiteroles and snapped 'those are not yours'. My husband stated that we had ordered profiteroles and she had brought them to our table. My daughter looked sad and stopped eating. We assured her that it was her dessert and not to worry. Neither the waitress or anyone else apologised. We did not want to complain or make a scene in front of our children so paid the bill and left. We were very disappointed so wanted to write this review, so that staff are aware and can improve their service.

Simply unable to deal with very basic takeaway orders.



They have told me tonight that they are too busy to cope so I would advise looking elsewhere if you would like to receive the food you actually ordered.



Also, look out for the discrepancy in the delivery price when using the app (£1) versus £1.50 when placing a phone order.....!



Apparently a disgruntled ex-employee has hacked the app and they’re trying to sort it.

Shocking service, staff unreliable, would not recommend to anyone

Placed a home dining order tonight at 7pm and asked for delivery around 8.30pm. At 8.55pm I phone to ask if our order had been dispatched only to be told they had been busy and had completely forgotten about it. Then said theyd cook it and get it out to us in 25 minutes at which point I cancelled my order. Very dissapoin ted with the customer service (or rather lack of) and can safely say I wont be ordering again.

Absolutely ridiculous and even worse customer service. Ordered around a month ago a vegetarian lasagne to collect. Got the lasagne home it looked like meat, so I called and was assured it wasn't meat so I started eating it. Well it was meat and as I havnt eaten meat in 18 years it made me violently sick. When I contacted them to tell them I was assured the staff would be re trained and it wouldn't happen again. So a week later I ordered again. Got my take away and drove all the way home. Once again they had sent a meat dish. I called to complain and was told I had to go back and collect another and that they would not deliver. After a long argument and them telling me it was because they had a new member of staff on that night they agreed to deliver. I appreciate mistakes do happen so as they delivered another I was happy enough. However, tonight is the third time they've given me the wrong dish even though I asked repeatedly for a vegetarian lasagne!!!!

When I called and said fair enough ANOTHER mistake please could you deliver another, their response was no! Too busy taking more orders when they couldn't even get the ones they had taken right! Further more they said I had to wait for a refund! Won't be returning that's for sure!
