Wow!!!! We were absolutely blown away this weekend by Chequered Band at my sisters wedding. Such talent and so much fun!! Every member of the band was lovely and so professional. We would definitely book them again and recommend to others!

We were lucky enough to have Chequered Band play at our wedding in December. They are amazing vocalists and musicians who put on an impressive performance, but also, really know how to bet a party started! Our friends and family still rave about them today and many have booked them for their own events because they enjoyed them at our wedding so much. Professional, easy to deal with and great value. Thank you Chequered Band, we can't recommend you highly enough!

We have had Sam and the band play for us twice and both times have been amazing! Great music, everyone was up dancing and all commented the next day on have brilliant the band we're! Couldn't recommend enough. �

We booked the band for our wedding reception in Huddersfield. Sam and the guys were professional and communication prior to the day was good, they gave it their all on what was a very hot night! Most importantly the music was brilliant and our guests had a fantastic evening dancing all night. People are still talking about how fantastic they were weeks after the wedding. The DJ was also brilliant and captured the mood of the evening perfectly, mixing requests with a good mix of music. Can’t recommend the band enough, they definitely helped us celebrate in style!

We booked chequered band for our wedding on Saturday. We felt like we took a bit of a risk as we'd not seen them before but my word did they absolutely nail it! I don't think the dancefloor was empty all night and Sam was super friendly. The music was perfect and we have had so many lovely comments about how good the band are. These guys were fantastic! On a practical level, they set up very fast, had an awesome set up with lights for dancefloor etc, and they looked super sharp! On a a musical level, they were *superb*. They did a belting version of "Show Me Love", and lots of funk and soul, with a great, tight rhythm section and two charismatic singers who knew how to get everyone moving! The dancefloor was full throughout - amazing work!! :D thank you all!

Thanks for playing at our wedding! Couldn't get people off the dancefloor all night - great musicians and helped create a brilliant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be seeing you play again! Also great at keeping in touch pre-wedding so we were confident everything was sorted, and really helpful on the night as we played our own playlists on their system between sets.

Sam and the band were absolutely brilliant for our wedding. We saw them a few months back to scope out their skills and we were more than impressed. So much so we asked for additional band members to make the day even more special. The band's professionalism and care to detail was fantastic and we could not have asked for anything more. All of our guests seemed to have enjoyed Chequered and were constantly asking for their details - most of our Guestbook includes the band being the best bit about the day & my sisters were too busy being infatuated with Sam to even write in the book! The best bit was the surprise they gave us - it made the day even more special. Thank you all so much you were amazing, see you soon. (For those debating about booking these guys, just do it. You won't be disappointed).

Sam and the band played at my wedding on the 27th of August and I can't even begin to describe how amazing they were. Very professional, great songs, good variety and incredible vocals. They brought a female vocalist along with them which was the icing on the cake. My wedding went on until late and everyone was enjoying themselves so much that it was hard for them to leave the stage. This band made my wedding day and I want to thank you all so much for your amazing performance. If I have a party in the future which I'm sure I will I wouldn't hesitate to book them again. People are still talking about how good they were. Thank you so much X

One of my favourite bands who play at the den- always bring the party, you guys emulate warmth and great vibes snd the crowd never want your sweet music to end! A genuinely beautiful mix of musicians inside and out! So talented!!

Sam knows exactly how to carve out the perfect set to get people up on their feet the whole night! The band are sooooo tight, nailed every tune and gave us the time of our lives! My wife’s 84 year old Grandma danced for the first time IN HER LIFE thanks to Sam and the gang.



What’s more, they’re such lovely people! They were so generous with their time, nothing was too much trouble to arrange in advance, and they were in no rush to get out of there! It’s so affirming to have people so good at their job who are also just decent and trustworthy professionals! I’ve seen plenty of wedding bands, played in a few too, and these guys are the real deal! � thanks Chequered for bringing it for our wedding!

Chequered played at our wedding at Broadoaks Country House Hotel last Saturday and they went down a storm! They had everyone on the dance floor from the very beginning of the night and we couldn't have asked for more. Everyone said what a great party the evening reception was and that's all thanks to Sam and the guys! Very pleased we booked them and would highly recommend!!
