stayed here again on the 17/9/17 for the 4th time this time we had the Yorkshire rose suite again the staff, hotel and food failed to disappoint the food is not cheap frozen bought in rubbish that some have said it is at all you can tell when your eating it that its decent quality the room was fantastic the staff are always very friendly and welcoming we shall definatley be returning for a 2 day stay near xmas.

User

We stayed here Friday n Saturday and it was simply lovlee the staff are very friendly and the food excellent room also very nice if I have to come over this way again I'll have no hesitation booking back here well done

User

We have just had our wedding there on the 18th June and apart from a couple of hiccups we had a fab day. Despite lacking a little organisation, the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. The food during the reception and night do fabulous, very impressed with in house dj too. The ainley suite and Emley suite where the ceremony and the reception/evening do took place was decorated lovely. The only issue was the heat and lack of air conditioning. But overall a truly fantastic day... Thank you to all staff involved.

User

My partner and I got married & had our reception here, it was BEAUTIFUL the rooms where fab, the food was fab, the staff where amazing. It was all round perfect.

Massive shout out to Laurie and Callum the wedding coordinators who went above and beyond our whole stay!

- Mr & Mrs Midwood.

I stayed here fri3 nov-sun 5 nov. I must say the staff are exemplary from reception to bar to cleaners, so polite & helpful. The swimming pool jacuzzi & sauna was clean & well kept. The twin bedroom I had was very clean & spacious & cleaned daily & fresh towels given. The food is very reasonably priced & lots of items are able to be delivered via room service 24/7 . The breakfast was very very good: the usual egg bacon sausage etc plus cereals, fruit, pastries & juices as much as you wanted self service. The breakfast staff were super polite & efficient. The reception lady was outstanding & a great asset. I would definitely return & am considering one of the themed nights I saw advertised there.

User

I love it here! I'm currently here due to work training commitments and will be back again next week. It's tough being away from home but being here makes up for it. The rooms are homely and clean and the breakfast bar is fantastic. Staff are fantastically friendly and polite even though iv locked myself out of my room twice! I would stay here if I ever visit the area for nights out or concerts in the future or if I visit my brother as he lives in Huddersfield and here is a good location.

Only downside is having decaf coffee sachets in my room! Lol!

Thank you! X

User

I attended a gin masterclass hosted by the fabulous David from nightingales gin. You’ve never tasted gin till you tasted nightingales gin, it was all amazing and thank you all the tips. Thanks for a great evening

User

Fantastic place, wonderful friendly staff, highly recommended.

Would like to commend the cleaning staff, One of my pet hates when you go anywhere is light fittings getting neglected, not here absolutely spotless (that maybe sad I know but when youve got low hanging fittings last thing you want to see is a lamp shade with dust 🙈)

User

We stayed Feb 14-16. Nice touch red rose at dinner. Friendly staff. Food good. Good value for money.

User

Stayed there yesterday for a night... room and hotel were good.. very warm in the corridors tho.. leisure facilities were quite good.. pool was fairly small. The food was really good and the staff were lovely.. would recommend it. ****

User

A big thank you to all the staff at cedar court for ensuring our wedding day went smoothly we couldnt fault the hard working staff, the food was delicious, the honeymoon suite was comfortable just have to have a little suggestion from our point of view the honeymoon suite was very dark not enough light in the bedroom only had a small light above a picture and two lamps to see with and had to use the bathroom light to get more light, maybe put a light in the room with a switch on wall, also the decor was also very brown and could do with making a little lighter especially when its the honeymoon suite it was like walking into a 1970's throw back with mordern furniture

User

We went Sunday night the meal was yummy and lovely. The staff very friendly and helpful. The room was warm but we put fan on and windows open. Only downside was the leisure centre. As a treat off my partner was the hotel and spa. But the jacuzzi and sauna was out of order. So we went in at 8.50 and signed out at 9.20 was upset and was looking forward to spa we didn't even get told by staff only found out once we got in pool area . So was a let down

User

We actually came here by mistake of communication with taxi driver .but i can say reception staff were very helpfull getting us back to our hotel.we eventully got back to same named hotel bradford .well at least we had a good laugh about it haha .thanks to helpfull staff x

User

Beautiful modern hotel. Staff very efficient.

Not allowed in the garden area if you smoke, you have to use the shed out front

User

Valentine's treat....welcoming arrival at reception....room clean and warm...moody and rude female bar staff...restaurant staff nice ..wrong information given regarding set menu with hotel deals before booking...food bland and tasteless...incorrect, a fruit fool has more than 2 pieces of fruit...trial run for wedding booking...wont be returning.

User

Very very poor. Food and drinks are so over priced (over £7 for a beef sandwich with a handful of crisps). Poor menu choices.... the meal we chose was awful. Deep fried chicken bones. Here right now and not slept a wink. The bed is like concrete with lumpy hard uncomfortable pillows and paper thin quilt. Wish I'd have read these reviews first. Would not return. Would not recommend.

User

Terrible will definitely not be back. The room smelt awful and had stains on the ceilings. The Health Club if you can call it that is tiny. The receptionist when we checked in was as welcoming as a rabid dog. The interior is very dated and desperately needs a revamp. The only saving grace was the politeness of the breakfast staff. The actual breakfast was overcooked and I wouldn't feed it to my dog. If you can book anywhere else, do so. Avoid this place.

User

Stopped at the cedar court hotel Huddersfield the 20th may 2017 sat night room 329. Well what can I say but what a Disgrace and let down. After paying £114 per night for a Superior double room. The room was a complete let down to the extent I went down stairs and asked if we was in the wrong room. Was told no that's the Superior room. Bad points 1, Room a complete let down and cold . 2, light not working room. Told lady at desk said someone would be up and sort it. But nothing happened. 3, The night staff not very friendly but the morning staff was ok. 4, The breakfast was also a complete let down was never asked if We wished for a coffee or tea. We was asked to move from a table to a table that was still dirty from the last people sitting. No bread to make toast had to ask the staff for bread, The toaster was broken and not going round. The breakfast was cold the hash browns was the cheapest you could buy. No croissant

and also yogurt was left and only replaced when we was leaving. All in all a complete let down and we will not be going again. Please be advised that we will be posting on the comments to other sites.

User

Stayed here for 2 nights (6th-8th September) and I have to say I will not come back!.

1. We asked for a child's cot/bed but apparently they didn't have any...

2. The first room we stayed in didn't have any electric.

3. There was an old pizza box on top of the wardrobe! God knows how long it was there if there was anything in it!

4. Was moved into a different room which wasn't big enough to swing a cat!

5. The breakfast was cold and sparce ( it started at 6.30 and we got there at 6.35!!) For £14.95 per person you would expect more!!

6. When checking out I told the lady I will not be paying the full price as the standard was poor and starting ranting at me!

Overall not impressed!!!!!!!!

On the plus side we had dinner in the on site restaurant on the first night which was delicious!
